I got Adasaurus mongoliensis:

Adventurous and curious, yet calculating and inquisitive, Adasaurus is all about a high-energy lifestyle. Their enthusiasm and creative thinking allow them to be able to do almost anything that interests them. Adasaurus also possesses great social skills, inspiring others to live life according to their inner values and never taking one day for granted. Excited by new ideas, but bored with details, these raptors are highly-active and well-liked within their pack.

So there was a bunch of paint sample progress pics posted on the FB page.

I'm hoping the FC Dromaeosaurus is unfinished since it's missing a lot of the black spots and markings (especially on the legs). I really like them otherwise, and I really like the Velociraptor samples from what I can see.

I got Acheroraptor. I liked all the pics accompanying the questions/choices.  :))

Flaffy

Save for the mononykus, I think that these mystery prototypes look a lot better than their accessory pack counterparts.

Jose S.M.

I wonder what thww mystery about this ones is, maybe they are going to be a selling as a bundle or individually without the terrain accesories?

Flaffy

Probably, there were quite a few (including me) people requesting the accessory pack dinosaurs to be sold separately from the accessories

Jose S.M.

If that's the case I would be very pleased!I wasn't that interested in the nest and stuff but the raptors are great. I really like this new Troodon look, and the Mononykus could be better(the read on the face mainly)  but pheasants are a favorite of my so I like it

I really hope so, I was another person requesting that too.  ;)

Very tempting, especially the caracara Troodon and magpie Microraptor.

Sim

I feel the versions of these four theropods that come with the accessory packs look a lot better than these ones with new colour schemes.  Also, the magpie-coloured Microraptor's colouration is inaccurate to what is known of Microraptor's colouration.  I bought three of the accessory packs, and although I find the environments of the accessory packs interesting, I wouldn't have bought the packs if I wasn't interested in the theropod figures included in them.  I'm glad I don't prefer any of these new colour schemes, as I wouldn't have been happy to see colour schemes I prefer suddenly being made so soon after buying the accessory packs.

Brontozaurus

Inaccurate as it is, I like the new colours for the Microraptor. Troodon looks fine too, but I much prefer the original colours for Buitreraptor and Mononykus.

I feel like these versions might be released separately from the accessory packs? That's the only release option I can think of for them anyway.

I kind of prefer the previous versions more, though I also like these. I really like the magpie Microraptor the most. Yeah I know it's not accurate to the fossil record, but there's already one that is that's available. I think this one is just a nice fictional alternate take on it. Don't know what the deal is with these, or if they will be offered for purchase, but even if they are, I might still pick up the accessory packs that I have not bought yet first. I'm sure they could probably be used for dioramas for (at least) the smaller ceratopsians in the next series as well, even if they might not work as well with the raptor's (and their bases) that I bought.

I posted a comment in the main comments section on Kickstarter, including a link to Scott Hartman's updated Utahraptor skeletal, as I thought David might find it interesting if he hadn't seen it yet.  I also expressed interest in a BotM series with the larger dromaeosaurid and troodontid species.  This should be a link to my comment: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/creativebeast/beasts-of-the-mesozoic-raptor-series-action-figure/comments?cursor=17011764#comment-17011763

I'd be so down for a Deinonychus, Utahraptor, Dakotaraptor, and an adult Troodon to go with the little one from the mountain set I bought. I have a feeling it will be a long wait, since there's the ceratopsians, the tryrannosaurids, and who knows what's next after those. The more I think about it though, the more it is a good thing that Utahraptor, etc, weren't made for this first raptor series, especially in Utahraptor's case, with the new published study and the updated knowledge of what it looks like that came after.

There's a white nestling shown now on the FB page. Oh do I want some for my Dromaeosaurus pair. It kind of resembles the juvenile Troodon a little bit too. I really wonder why these repaints are being done and if they will be for sale sooner or later, because I really would like to buy some.

Edit: I just realized something. The wetlands set was the only accessory pack without a corresponding nestlings pack (matching bases and nestlings that matched with the hatchling included with the accessory pack). The wetlands set also has the white colored hatchling. I wonder if this white nestling will be part of a set with bases matching the wetland set.

I'm not a fan of how the previous three nestling colour schemes looked, in contrast I like how this new white one looks.  Well spotted that the hatchling in the Wetlands pack is white, Faelrin.

I also echoed the desire for the larger Dromaeosaurs.

Just look at these cuties :3 Look's like Faelrin was right as well. Those bases are the same colours as the wetland set.

Faelrin

Oh so I was right. I really want these now after seeing them all together. Even if designed for the wetland set, I really want my Dromaeosaurus pair to have some nestlings, since I still intend to get the amber stripey ones (soon, at that) for my Velociraptor trio (well now since I have the red variant, otherwise would have just been a pair between the regular and blue one). I doubt they'll really need to be on their bases as much as the main raptors, but it still is a nice touch that the wetlands set now has a matching counterpart nestling set. To be honest I was kind of secretly hoping there would be white nestling's mostly because I wanted some nestlings for my Dromaeosaurus pair, and I would prefer the nestlings to match the colors of the chicks that both of the adult birds those raptors were based on. Had these not happened, I probably would have went without for them, or took my chances in repainting (and now come to think of it, a build a nestling set would be nice to see down the road).
