Exhibition has been open for a couple days now, yes? Any news or pictures? They haven't uploaded anything new to FB or YouTube....

Asian websites are your best bet for pictures. Thats how we got some leaks. Maybe acro man will post something

I was in Beijing few days ago, partly to see the exhibit. Missed the exhibit because there was one delay after another and they were not very good at notifying anyone about it. I only found out about the first delay when I messaged them directly via facebook. They got rather defensive when I complained that they should have updated their page about delays when they knew about it rather than after the fact. Found a Chinese news posting stating the opening date now as the 15th. I did see them set up while I was there so here are some pics below:

WOW.  Thanks for those photos - the Spinosaurus in particular looks like its gonna be awesome - are they going to paint the models before the exhibit?  That would seem to be pretty time consuming - maybe that's part of the reason for the delay?

Thanks for sharing those pics.  This'd be the closest I'd get to seeing the exhibit.  I'd be a bit more forgiving about their sparse updates on facebook - considering that facebook is still "blocked" in China.  Perhaps their updates were in other websites/media.  I totally understand the frustration though, considering you went there on the supposed date of the exhibit.

And those models, even in their unpainted state, look really good.

I have no idea what caused so much delay. When they responded to me they offered no explanation besides factors beyond their control and seemed mad that I wasn't more understanding. There were also no ads of any kind anywhere in the city promoting the exhibit. There weren't even signs pointing out which way to the exhibit. It's not a tiny exhibit but the open area near all the Olympic facilities around it is huge and you could totally walk by without ever knowing it's there.

If the figures of PVC, vinyl or resin that are going to make the PNSO brand of Zhao Chuang correspond exactly with these beautiful sculptures, they are going to suppose an absolute danger for the rest of toy dinosaur companies.  :o

It's rainy season here in Beijing, really bad for an outdoor event.

But the weather report says it's gonna be cloudy tomorrow, so I WILL BE GETTING THERE!  >:D

Let's see if there's anything new.

Oh wow, the displays were left unpainted so that the visitors can paint them? That is interesting.

Jerry, thanks for the update. Looking forward to your photos on your 15th trip.

:o Is that Spinosaurus life size?!
I'm excited for REBOR's Acro!  Can't ya tell?

Awesome reconstructions, there in Peking. I just wish the Netherlands would be able to procure a Mosasaurus like that (first one found near Maastricht, of course) and display it in for example the Naturalis museum in Leiden, where they also have a great T. rex skeleton ('Trix').

PhilSauria

The figures from this company really appeal to me - so different in style to any other company (which I guess could be said about most brands, but here moreso) and so naturalistic. I have been trying to get hold of as many of the big vinyls as I can since reading that this line is now out of production (my poor bank balance!) and look forward to future releases. They are certainly center pieces of my display, edging out some other figures both physically and in terns of aesthetics. Great to see these images, thanks for posting.

Shonisaurus

At least the colors of the figure of the mosasaurus exposed in China remind me a lot of the mosasaurus of Collecta, I have to admit it. Anyway, the sculpture is great.

Found these on facebook.

Where did you find the giganotosaurus pics? I saw these pics on fb when they were first posted but no giganotosaurus to be found.

The second picture is the expected bittergasaurus from PNSO. Without a doubt, it will be my favorite amargasaurus compared to the rest of the brands if it is made.

On the other hand the ceratosaurus has gone from being a "nobody" in the world of the dinosaur either resin or toy to an essential dinosaur in every collection. If they do PVC it would be a great ceratosaurus.

I understand that many of their figures are intended for experienced collectors and adults and will most likely be resin like the nyctosaurus trapped by a mosasaurus.

To finish it seems that they are serious when it comes to making a Giganotosaurus the company PNSO. It would be a figure that would compete with that of other toy dinosaur companies.

Summing up all the dinosaurs and prehistoric animals (prototypes) look amazing.

Found these on facebook.

I would DIE if PNSO made this Guanlong (I'm assuming?) into a purchasable kit/model... the little scratching critter alone is a priceless pose to have captured, and I looooove these sort of poses in models.

Dino Scream3232

Oh baby that Ceratosaurus. That's my favorite from the whole bunch.
