I love CollectAs mammal figuriens

However the best ones are from 2012 to present. I would love it if they remade the Woolly Mammoth and the Paracerathirum.

Dont get me wrong, i would also love it if they gave us some other elephants as well.   Like a Colombian mammoth

suspsy

A new Paraceratherium from CollectA or any other company would be most welcome, especially if they added a tapir-like trunk like this one:

I like lauticauda's suggestion of a mastodon. Although rather than going with the typical American species, Mammut americanum, I would much prefer the massive M. borsoni:

EmperorDinobot

Duckbilled dinosaurs and anthropoids: extinct prosimians are a must.

We need Teilhardina made into plastic, too.

If its a Mastodon, I'm all for it.  As much as I love Woolly Mammoths "and I do", I would like to see some of the others get some love.

Kovu

CollectA truly excels at mammals. Does anybody know if whoever sculpts their extant mammals also sculpts their prehistoric ones?
Either way, I'd love to see a new Paraceratherium from them. Or a Mastodon. There really isn't enough Mastodons on the market.
An Elasmotherium would be great too. Come to think of it, has CollectA done a Coelodonta?

Bokisaurus

CollectA - Unitatherium, sivatherium,Macrauchenia
Einiosaurus, Rubeosaurus, or any of the newly discovered ceratopsian
Deluxe Rebbachisaurus or Lambeosaurus
Really hoping for someone to do Xephactinus or Leedsichthys

Safari - Ouranosaurus or Lambeosaurus
Any of the newly discovered ceratopsians will be cool

Stuckasaurus (Dino Dad Reviews)

I'll start with my actual guesses for next year:
I'm all but certain we will see a Dakotaraptor from Collecta (hopefully reasonably close to 1:40 scale), and maybe a nice "Hellboy" Regaliceratops. We can assume Safari will re-release their Andrewsarchus and Arsinotherium, and I would also bet that Safari probably has either a new ceratopsian or a new ankylosaur, but not both. I think a Deinocheirus from Safari is inevitable, but we probably won't see one until at least next year, given Doug's usual timetable.

As for my wishlist that may or may not reflect reality...

Safari:
We're long overdue for a nice, classic centrosaurine, like Einiosaurus, Centrosaurus itself, or a Styracosaurus redux. Outside chances of a Spinops or Regaliceratops.
Olorotitan
Miragaia
Ouranosaurus
Tsintaosaurus (now phallus-free!)
Edmontonia
Koolasuchus
Whale Evolution TOOB
Permian Life TOOB
Based on Doug's comments last year, we probably won't see NEW mammals this year, but when and if he gets around to them, I'd like to see (in scale with the existing models):
Paraceratherium
Mastodon (either M. americanum or Z. borsonii)
Deinotherium
Uintatherium
an entelodont
a sivathere

Collecta
Any 1:40 scale large-bodied sauropod, please! Preferably a titanosaur like Dreadnoughtus.
Kulindadromeus family
Coelophysis family
Scutellosaurus family
Dsungaripterus
1:40 scale Shonisaurus
Leedsichthys/Bonnerichthys
Basilosaurus
a sivathere
Lurdusaurus, the hippopotamus/sauropod mimic that Darren Naish beautifully described as "the stupidest-looking iguanodontian"

If Battat is still alive, I'd like to see the remaining models released in the following order (I've given up on new ones, although I like that Forrest Rodgers idea):
Gastonia
Ouranosaurus
Styracosaurus
Europasaurus
Nasutoceratops
Edmontonia
Gigantoraptor
Pachycephalosaurus
Diplodocus
Pentaceratops
Triceratops
Gallimimus
Utahraptor
Dilophosaurus

Papo:
Surprise me!

Schleich:
Strong negative bias towards this company, but if this year's Dunkelosteus (among a couple others) is any indication, they may pull a Collecta soon and impress me. I'll wait and see.

laticauda

I wouldn't bet on Schleich making accurate figures.  They have shown the ability over the past few years to make really good toys for playing, there not typically scientific accurate ones.

suspsy

That's another hope and dream of mine: that Battat will either announce the release of the remaining dinosaurs, or announce that they will never be released. Either way, it'll be better than continuing to wonder just what the hell is going on.

Hopefully the former, rather than the latter. I need that Diplodocus is my collection again.

Halichoeres

Speaking of sauropods, know what would be great? A Kaiyodo Mega Sofubi sauropod. My first choice would be Mamenchisaurus, but if it's in the general neighborhood of 1:40 I'd be happy with just about any choice.
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

T.rex

I would like to see a Nanotyrannosaurus in 1:40 scale. Sadly, I doubt one will ever be made in any size.

Well, might not be quite what you have in mind, but Planeta DeAgostini made one, and it's in 1:40:

Prehistorictravel

My hope CollectA can make them:
1:40 scale Prionosuchus plummeri
Edmontosaurus regalis
Onchopristis numidus
Onchopristis numidus corpse
Dakotaraptor steini
Cervalces scotti
Yoshi Trike
New Brachiosaurus altihorax

I almost said Prionosuchus myself! But I ultimately picked Koolasuchus instead. I feel like that has a better chance of being made due to its appearance in WWD.

Prionosuchus would certainly be a unique choice---perfect for CollectA.

Do you think Papo could start a prehistoric plants/trees line one day ? Like Schleich but more Papo style  :))

Otherwise I'd like to see more giant sauropods from Papo

I suppose it's a possibility maybe as part of a trees  / planets line after all Papo's product line is quite diverse.

Otherwise I'd like to see more giant sauropods from Papo

Stuckasaurus (Dino Dad Reviews)

You know, it's high time either Safari or Collecta did an Archelon. Safari especially. They've got all the other great sea reptiles covered! Pliosaurs, Plesiosaurs, Ichthyosaurs, Mosasaurs, Sea Crocodylians: all they're missing is prehistoric turtles!

Shonisaurus

My opinion about the news of dinosaurs in general to know that 2017 will be a spoilsport in my statements, but I fear that unless Collecta in the best case will be the only company that will obscure prehistoric animals.

In fact recently revealed Safari and Schleich dinosaurs are known many prehistoric animals. I guess the same will obviously Papo Rebor let alone to mention some companies dinosaurs and prehistoric animals.

I hope I'm wrong.   :-\
