DinoLord

The website has been updated and now there are a few dinosaur pictures. The T. rex has a few scars - is it the same one from the first movie?

personally I like it
its more reminiscent of how modern dinosaurs move their heads while moving, which is to say that as a bird moves its head maintains an illusion of remaining static

I'm thinking it should look more like this. And yes, that is a chicken with a make-shift tail. Used in a study on how dinosaurs may have moved.

OH! I didn't notice her scars! It could be "Rexy" it sure looks like those are the scars left from her battle with the raptors in JP1. It would be pretty epic if it is her. 8) 8)

Blade-of-the-Moon

Given the color it's a female for sure and those scars look exactly like where the Raptor attacked her in JP. So yes I'd say it is our old girl for sure!

Where did you find the pics on the site? I've been clicking on everything...so much new content..lol

DinoLord

Here. From all the names mentioned I guess at least all the dinosaurs will have designs unlike the first film where most were not shown.

Wait, no, really? Huh? But, wait what? I can't even. Really is that even? Alright ok whatever.

Something about this response had me laughing out loud for about half a minute.  ;D

Cool, nice pic of the Apato, Rex and Trikes too.

Yeah some of their "facts" are incorrect, they did say the mosasaur is a marine reptile though. ;)

Actually those raptors running look very similar to these ostriches running in the way they keep the head steady and level.

Here's the very first look at the official Jurassic World toys. The image comes from JurassicWorld.com and pictured toys are not just movie props - they coincide with official listings that leaked a few weeks earlier.

More gadgets and collectibles:

Hasbro is at it again, the same JP III molds in the same colors as the previous two releases.  Just with a sticker slapped on. Atleast the Dino Showdown sets are shown, too. So they finally might come to Germany.

Oh, Rexy!

Rexy: "Do you know how I got these scars?"
D-Rex: "You killed some Raptors...but that was years ago, you are old now. You don't scare me! you were the precursor to my kind—the early model!"
Rexy: "And I'm still going to beat you."
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Listening to Jurassic Park soundtrack on Spotify! I'm in the mood for some dino action! That T.Rex with scars looks fantastic!

The Apatosaurus page also shows the skull of a Brachiosaurus. If I wasn't aware that the film wasn't aiming for accuracy, I am now.

Also whhhhyyyyy are they releasing those JPIII toys again. Dammit, Hasbro.

I guess so. It's not really how I would have imagined they moved myself but I suppose it checks out.

The Park is open! The site is up and unlocked! :D It is awesome, and I'm thinking that the site will unlock more things as the film gets closer to it's release into theaters.

Leaked image of the D-Rex from marketing expo :

Hmm at first I didn't like her, then I got a second look and now I really really want to see with she can and will do. D-Rex looks terrifying and simple awesome. Jurassic Collectibles pointed out that her 'finger' claws are really long almost like a therizinosaurus' claws.

D-Rex? Therizinosaurus claws?  ???
Dude, I very like Dinos and I cannot understand those who don't.

SpartanSquat

Wow the t-rex is the first one! Also by the leaked pic and the lego toy: D-rex is a carcharodontosaurid with hormones, cuttlefish abilities, snake tongue and big claws. I can imagine Papo will make an albino carcharodontosaurid after the movie.

sauroid

that T. rex would look great as a figure

If you have Papo in mind, I am afraid it is too similar to the one they have already made. I personally hope for an Apatosaurus from Papo. Image posted on Jurassic World website could easily be turned into an excellent figure.

Pachyrhinosaurus

I just saw the newly-leaked D. rex concept art and it pretty much looks like the new Safari Yutyrannus, especially in color; but no feathers.

the humans and the large dinosaurs (in the first pic) are from the 2009 and 2013 releases respectively, not Jurassic World
