Hasbro is at it again, the same JP III molds in the same colors as the previous two releases.  Just with a sticker slapped on. Atleast the Dino Showdown sets are shown, too. So they finally might come to Germany.
the humans and the large dinosaurs (in the first pic) are from the 2009 and 2013 releases respectively, not Jurassic World

I agree, but a re-release is possible. Boxes look official, especially when you notice the raptor claw toy on the top shelf (which is a part of the leaked listings). I guess the picture doesn't show new toys, like the D-rex and other dinosaurs that haven't been released in previous toylines.

Don't worry, the packaging of the action figure is just the 3D packaging with a JW logo hastily slapped on it. The final packaging will surely look a lot different. And I really doubt those lousy JP III figures will be repainted again. The Pachyrhinosaurus and Allosaurus however...

My news report channel on tv said that JW should be released in early 2014, but steven spielberg have to delete some part of the film so it make the released delayed. Is that true ?

Yes. It was originally supposed to be released in June (15?) of this year. I'm glad they delayed it, as to give more time to make it good.

The website has been updated and now there are a few dinosaur pictures. The T. rex has a few scars - is it the same one from the first movie?

didn't the original design leave out the pubis?  I think this might be the first time I've seen a JP T.rex with that.  I remember reading something about Spielberg not liking how it looked.

Of course I'd be more impressed if they'd tweaked the orientation of the arms(most audience members wouldn't notice, but it'd mean a lot to some of us), but I'm certainly not expecting them to just morph into 100% scientific accuracy.

I think I see a pubis, but its not as prominent as on the JW rex.

I don't know if we can really take much from this, but it seems to show us a possible species list

Personally I like idea of trained raptors. I feel like the previous films (especially the third) have been hinting at this for some time.

"Smarter than dolphins" definitely seems to imply that they could be trained, and since it places them at least on par with crows and starlings (the smartest animals nigh humans outside of JP canon) it means that they would be capable of learning and completing very complex tasks, just as their feathered equivalents do in real life.

I think it would be interesting to have some sort of protests or some such against keeping captive raptors. It could bring in some of the focus on animal abuse as a result of owning genetic codes that was touched on in the second novel.

Overall, I'm liking the new depictions of their dinos. The T. rex's feet and arms look to be a bit smaller. Although, I still can't understand the insistence of pronating theropod hands, even a lot of the toy companies still refuse to correct them. What's the big deal? The Apato looks cool, except for being a little shrink-wrapped IMO. The D-rex turned out to be better than I expected. It actually looks like it could be a real animal. It's head is very carcharodontosaurid in shape. The site is also way cool! Getting more and more excited!! :o

As nit-picky as people can get about the movie, it can apparently be worse for other institutions:

I just read(I don't know if its true so take this with a grain of salt) that the reason they went with a Hybrid dinosaur is so they could trademark its design so company's like Papo cant ripp it off.   Real dinosaurs have no trademark, but one they create themselves can be all theres

Wow, I had no idea the NHM was so bad. Oxford does it better >:D

And I'm also glad that at least one paleontologist is not whining about the lack of accuracy in JW.

I also found it rather amusing that the writer of that article spelt Iguanodon as "Iguanadon" when the museum themselves got the spelling correct...heh.

Yeah, I was thinking about that too. Maybe this dialogue is going on amongst those in charge of Papo's prehistoric line (though to be fair they don't do JP copies nearly as much as they used to).

The Park is open! The site is up and unlocked! :D It is awesome, and I'm thinking that the site will unlock more things as the film gets closer to it's release into theaters.

Hmm at first I didn't like her, then I got a second look and now I really really want to see with she can and will do. D-Rex looks terrifying and simple awesome. Jurassic Collectibles pointed out that her 'finger' claws are really long almost like a therizinosaurus' claws.

D-Rex? Therizinosaurus claws?  ???

JC said that D-Rex's claws reminded him of a therizinosaurus' claws. I don't think D-rex actually has thrizino DNA in her.

I'm predicting Papo will make a giganotosaurus or carcharodontosaurus based on the D. rex/iRex, so it is still a 'real' dinosaur but can sell as a D. rex.

That seems like a pretty unlikely reason. Jurassic World isn't merchandise driven like the Transformers movies are, so the hybrid would have been in there as part of the script, not for the toy companies.

Yeah I don't buy it. If someone wants to rip it off I'm sure they would.  The original JP dinos   were created by SWS for Universal, they were designed for them. So they own the actual designs. Thing is it didn't stop people copying them.

I was thinking the same thing the other day! Maybe in 2016 we will have an albino Giganotosaurus or albino Carcharodontosaurus. I hope with JW they will remake the old mosasaurus based in the movie ones. Also the JW ones have the fluked tail.

I knew Faz.Alam was being WAY too harsh. I'm glad both Switek & NHM were there to set the record straight.
