These look really nice  :o They remind me very much of the work of Julius Csotonyi. So much so that I wonder if he's responsible for them. His 3D/2D techniques mesh somewhat with the existing CGI images the site has.
Julius said on facebook that he did indeed make the Edmontosaurus.

Patrx

Turns out those are all Julius Csotonyi's! (Baryonyx, Edmontosaurus, Metriacanthosaurus, Microceratus and Suchomimus, anyway.) He says he was  commissioned to create these, "and some others that have not been used yet."

Blade-of-the-Moon

That would give us a good indication of the others. We have the Pachy, Para and Velociraptor left..those all three should be in the film though as they have existing designs.

I do wish they would use these to make CG models for the film from..talk about excellent designs.

tyrantqueen

I really like the colour schemes for those dinosaurs. I might borrow them for future repaints.

CityRaptor

Someone needs to immortalize them in figure form.

David Krentz once said that Minor Dinosaur species in movies get more accuracy because they are free to be made as accurate as possible and the excutives dont care, wheres main creatures have to have recognizable characteristics for the audience to see.

This is true. Did he say that in combination with WW3D, where they still look realistic, or Disneysaur, where the Iguanodons ended up as horse-faced abominations due to executive meddling?

Also, have you noticed some of the little Quills on the Head of those Spinosaurs?

Also on their arms. The Metriacanthosaurus looks rather fuzzy, too.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

So these guys will be in the upcoming film? Tha'd be great as the design looks stellar!

Not necessarily--they may only be referenced, if that (just as in the first JP, where other dinos were referred to but never seen). Or they may have been required to flesh out the website to feel more like a proper dino zoo.

Awesome to see a dinosaur like Microceratus even mentioned !! I am unsure if they should open the entire can of worms involving Microceratus, Graciliceratops, Diceratops, and Microceratops, but it would prove interesting, as most of the material orginally labeled Microceratus has been assigned to Graciliceratops. fabricious

According to Julius Csotonyi, the artist, the other dinosaurs won't be seen (at least his designs won't, since he got commissioned late 2014 for these illustrations) in the movie.

Blade-of-the-Moon

This could be a good sign as we could see more accurate dinosaurs in later films if not this one.  I do think there maybe an "escape montage" seeing dinosaurs breaking free all over the park via the control room. So we may see some quick/fuzzy pics of some of the more aggressive species Julius designed show up like that. The river cruise really only has the spinosaurs and the Metriacanthosaurus to cause any havoc.

Pachyrhinosaurus

I read on JPL the other day that Cstonyi was commissioned to do a velociraptor as well, and clearly we will see that species in the movie, though whether the site will use the velociraptor he made or not, has yet to be known.

Afraid not. This is merely Universal's attempt to try and assuage all the scientific objections people have been raising about the film's dinosaurs. Hire a legitimate, well-known science writer and an immensely talented paleoartist to add some actual authenticity to the website. Only problem is, Csotonyi's dinosaurs make the movie "dinosaurs" look even lousier. To reuse a favourite analogy of mine, it's like comparing sirloin steak with twice-baked potato and fresh salad to a Happy Meal. :p

And c'mon, there's no way they'd ever waste valuable cinema time on stock fodder like Edmontosaurus and Microceratus! Cool mutant killer dinos only, LOL!!!1

Ugh, just writing that made me feel gross.

Saw this on JPL :

I like the quote from the notebook.

" Jurassic World, exists to remind us how very small we are. "

That's a lengthy tag line though...it might be a quote.

Maybe it's something Masrani said or might attributed to Hammond?

amargasaurus cazaui

Wasnt Microceratus in the original novel, if I remember correctly?

Yes under the name Microceratops. They seem to have been allowed free roam of the island much like the Compsognathus.

Zhuchengotyrant

I do not know if someone had already put this link, but this official Jurassic World website shows a Suchomimus, Metriacanthosaurus, and Baryonyx, however, no Spinosaurus

Kayakasaurus

Did anyone else spot this? I think it's pretty hilarious! JP used the silhouette of the Papo Parasaurolophus and put an edmontosaurus head on it. I wonder if this isn't the only toy they used?

Blade-of-the-Moon

I think the website designers just pulled images from a variety of sources..you can see examples here and there. I would love if this prompted Papo to make an Edmontosaurus...lol

stargatedalek

Poetic justice in regards to the Papo if you ask me. The others however were stolen from independent artists.

Blade-of-the-Moon

It's also ironic the Hasbro Ankylosaurus figure looks pretty darn close to Papo's too..
