I don't know if I can be trusted to keep a thread up to date with all the info, but I'm happy to get you started if you'd like to start one.

The thread is started.... here!

I'm only about half way through but the spring sunshine is tempting me away from the keyboard.

I found a website for Michael Lovejoy who sculpted some of the Khurusan Miniatures and MicroWorld Games dinosaurs which show his greenstuff originals. Scroll down and there's a nice, fat 1/50th scale Giganotosaurus

I wanted to order a few from Khurusan and now i see that Giga. I like the sculpt. Moreover his Gorgosaurus looks great, too. Du you have any Info, if it is possible to purchase them in any way?

The only listed retailer has been out of the game for a while. You may try contacting him directly and seeing if he knows where any are? The email he lists on his site is [email protected]

The Orthocone has finally seen completion!
(model from https://antimatter-games.com/product/giant-orthocone/)

I don't really love the colors I picked but I'm happy to be finished either way.

Halichoeres

I think it looks good! The sculptural details on the inner surfaces of the arms make them look like rebar. And I almost missed that eurypterid hugging the substrate.

Bokisaurus

Very nice and that base looks amazing.

Havn't been much in the painting mood for quite some time, but I got the itch and deicded to finish the Antimatter Xiphactinus:

Just for fun, next to the Prey Collection Dunk:

I've learned that I enjoy painting fish  :P Too bad there aren't many model kits availble for them!

Shonisaurus

How well painted that xiphactinus. It's honestly a realistic, brilliant painting and it honestly looks like a real fish.

I didn't know that Antimatter had made a Xiphactinus. Interesting little mackerel-style finlets between the dorsal and the caudal. That's a really nice paint job, congrats!

Did you see their placoderm? A little fantasy-like, but pretty cool.

Yes! Here's the link:

Not called a Xiphactinus of course, it has as fantasy name.

They have lots of neat fantasy crittiers based off of prehistoric animals.

The fantasy placoderm BlueKrono mentioned:

They have some nice dinosaur inspired beasts too. I really like this ceratopsid:

No new models for me until I work through some of my backlog. But sometday.

I thought I'd posted these a while back, but I guess forgot about it. Finished several months back, the DeeZee mammoth family is finally complete:

Shonisaurus

You have been great. I wish I had your ability to paint figures. By the way, those mammoths are a bit "retro" paleoartistic representations, they're pretty.

Halichoeres

Oh wow, that placoderm definitely draws some inspiration from crustaceans. Not generally the sort of thing I go for, but these are really nice designs.

Nice work on the mammoths too!

Thank you! The first model I ever painted wasn't very good, but I kept at it until I started making progress I was happy with. Its hard to take that intial step, but I gaurantee you are capable of just as good or better :)

Speaking of progress... over a year later, and I FINALLY finished the Dan's Dinosaur Deinonychus model (sculpted by Sean Cooper). "Finished" in so far as the Deinonychus at least has paint on it. In this house, we do NOT finish bases ...  :P

Sort of odd to admit, but the thing I'm most happy with are the feet. One of my chickens has slated colored legs with a white/pink bottom so I took it as inspiration. What is Deinonychus anyway if not a gigantic chicken?

Looks like a trustworthy friend to me:

PumperKrickel

Those colours are gorgeous. It looks so soft and fluffy! Fantastic job!

BlueKrono

Stellar work on this one. Your chicken wouldn't happen to be a silkie, would it? The skin color on those things is wild.

Thank you both!

I wish I had a Silkie! The chicken in question is an Australorp.

That repainted Sean Cooper deinonychus has turned out great, it looks like a stuffed deinonychus, it looks like a real dinosaur. The repainted legs and plumage have fit you correctly. Nice dinosaur figure.

Kapitaenosavrvs

Beautiful paintjob! I love the classic colours and one can clearly see your paintingskills. And yes, the feet are extremely well done! Too many exclamation marks :D

ceratopsian

A very successful project. And the feet are outstanding!
