Whenever im on the forum.  I normaly do not see the Pics the first time I visit a page.  However when i Refresh it. The pics appear

This is not just this Topic.   But the entire forum for me. :-\

Appalachiosaurus

I can see them on the page, but if I press "open image in new tab" i'm given a 404.

Paleodude

Honestly a bit disappointed in the new Amargasaurus when compared to the young Apatosaurus and Brachiosaurus from previous years. Can't exactly put my finger on why but it just looks a bit goofy not dissimilar to some of Schleich's lines. Maybe the detail I'm used to getting from Papo just isn't there or something but it's  not one of their best figures.

Shonisaurus

Honestly I am surprised that I have made a company of the entity of Papo that amargasaurus gives me the impression that it is not the same sculptor of brachiosaurus or juvenile apatosaurus. Maybe it is a different sculptor and even the one who did in his day the plesiosaurus or the tylosaurus of the same company.

But without a doubt it is not one of the best figures made by Papo in the last fifteen years. I was expecting a amargasaurus in the style of acrocanthosaurus, ceratosaurus or cryolophosaurus made this year by this company and they are nice figures.

sauroid

it's like they rushed an Amargasaurus figure just for the sake of having one next year without too much thought and effort

That Iguanodon is not as Good as i wanted it to be.   But that Amargasaurus is worse.

What were they thinking when deciding the proportions of the Therizinosaurus? It's an OK model in other aspects, but the proportions, combined with the pose this figure is in, alone makes me not want to buy this.

The Amargasaurus is, as many have said, one of Papo's worst figures ever.

The other figures are all OK, but not brilliant. While they've finally released the Iguanodon figure, it is, at best, just on par with the CollectA that's being released the same year. While this is clearly the superior figure detail-wise, the CollectA is more accurate to how it is thought Iguanodon would look.

Blade-of-the-Moon

The Iguanodon looks ok, i'll get it and the Therizino and the baby Spino.  The Amarga just isnt as good as Safari's this year.

Simon

Distinctly UNDERWHELMING.  But typical Papo.

The Iguanodon is decent enough, but CollectA's new Deluxe version blows it out of the water. Less pricey too!

The Therizinosaurus has wonky proportions and looks suspiciously similar to the one from Schleich.

The Amargasaurus is an unmitigated disaster and the baby Spinosaurus doesn't interest me.

Ah well, money saved. Someone better add these images to the front page if they haven't been already.

I think they should wait until some less Blurry images are found.

But its up to the Person who runs this thread :)

Okay, I really like the Therizinosaurus. It has feathers, and it seems 'fat', and the arms are properly positioned. It might not be the perfect Theri, but man I really like it. The Iguanodon is okay, but I think Safari Ltd's and CollectA's new deluxe have it beat, at least in the accuracy department (it seems like the pinkie digit has a claw when it shouldn't, and its hands could be bigger, and are oriented wrong). I think it is still nice though, and would fit in better with the other Papo figures then CollectA's deluxe. I think these are the first herbivores from Papo with articulated jaws too (even though the Theri is a theropod)?

Edit: The Papo Iguanodon looks shrinkwrapped too the more I look at it. I don't think its hips and shoulder blade should be that "exposed" under the skin.

That Therizinosaurus is totally inspired by David Krentz. Also, long Therizinosaurus is long (the torso looks very strange and comical).

(although to be fair, the feet are opposite)

Jose S.M.

I don't really know what to think about this figures.Detail, as almost always with Papo, looks great in Theri and Iguanodon, they look very different in that respect to the Amarga. I love Theri's head sculpt but it's body look weird, and I like Iguano's body but something on it's head bothers me, maybe the articulation.

Maybe that Theri is gravid/preggars (and thus female).

Faelrin

That would be an interesting touch. Although I also wonder if they gave it such a big belly because some herbivores around today do, to digest all the plant material they eat. I can think of cows and gorillas at least, but I don't think they are the best analogues to this creature.

I know that Therizinosaurus had a large gut, but I thought it was more of a pot belly. The Papo just looks swollen and strange. It could just be me I guess.
