You made a fine job of him too.  I'm partial to bright colours myself, and he brightens up the wet and gloomy late afternoon here!

Shonisaurus

You have been impressive the repainting of the shantungosaurus pnso, sincerely I would like to have your same mastery when repainting figures and modeling dinosaur figures as you do in your case. The manual works are very relaxing and gratifying for the health of mind and body.

Congratulations for your repaint, Bokisaurus! It's a really nice scheme that I like a lot!
I've tried to repaint one of those too, and I had the opportunity to see how many details had been hidden by the original paint scheme. This is really one of that figures that should always be repainted, because the original colors ruin the details of the sculpt.
Anyways, it's sad that PNSO decided to retire it, and I hope to see it re-released with another paint scheme.

Bigger than a camarasaurus,
and with a bite more stronger that the T-Rex bite,
Ticamasaurus is certainly the king of the Jurassic period.

With Balaur feet, dromaeosaurus bite, microraptor wings, and a terrible poison, the Deinoraptor Dromaeonychus is a lethal enemy for the most ferocious hybrid too.

I really like you painting style on the figures, you always make them pop out with interesting color schemes.

Well, its been a long dry few month ;D
I did manage to get these two JP figures the last few months, other than that, its been slow ;D

Nasutu - I really like this one a lot. I was very happy when I accidentally found it in the produce section! ;D It dwarfs the Safari and CollectA figures.

And this large Quetz  :))
Interesting how they articulated the large wings, you have to open it not too spread or you see the cuts :)) Overall its a great figure.

Congrats on picking those up. Those are easily some of my favorites that Mattel has produced so far.

Honestly, Mattet's figures are very beautiful remind me of the figures of Tyco Toys. They were also very pretty figures for that time.

Seems like almost everyone is finding something to like in the Mattel line :)

..... sorry Boki, of course I keep on liking your collection thread :) .

It's been a while for a true collection group pose. So here is one, a blast from the good old days of Schleich :))
Schleich once upon a time produced some really nice prehistoric mammals way back in the late 1990's/early 2000's I think, and were clearly inspired but the WWPB documentary.
I really like the set and wish they would produce more, but it looks like t hey have forgotten the group since there was no follow up figures or any new addition since then.
So lets take a quick trip.... and look at the six prehistoric mammals from Schleich's glory days ;)
[

Here to hoping that they would, one day, produce a replacement set.... a good one ;)

Cheers! :D

That megafauna of Schleich came out if I remember correctly in 2003, a year sad indeed in my family life and honestly for me it was a lot of prehistoric animals that I waited with much enthusiasm and received them in September of that year. I remember all the details of that day when I was notified by phone two days before (I was working and could not attend) and I remember that the night before buying it as a small child I could not sleep from impatience.

The ones I liked best about that group were the ursus spelaeus (cave bear), glyptodon and macrauchenia from Schleich 2003:
The weakest part of the group (for me) was the megatherium, smilodon (it's the least graceful I have) and mammoth primigenius. Then the following year it seems to me that they launched the mammoth primitive and sincerely the opposite that the mammoth impressed me more the mammoth.

For me they were and are unforgettable prehistoric animals and I sincerely pinched myself thinking that I was dreaming of having these figures of Schleich prehistoric mammals in my hands.

That cave bear could use a review!

After he does something for the ANIMAL Toy Blog (wink wink, nudge nudge LOL)
