i believe so, but rex is much larger, as it's bipedal, wider, and a lot taller
Shrek 4 is an underrated masterpiece

Spoiler
not to mention is more smarter and has a stronger bite(although fasola has an overall more devastating bite)

Fasolasuchus is not considered spoilers right?
It is just us postulating.
Fasola would be a incredible addition to the film.
I think the upper length estimate is 33 ft. Since JP/JW is not even going for accuracy, they can easily go 45 ft.
Still think Tyrannosaurus has an unfair advantage of height and mass.
Those are things animals can easily use to gain an advantage when fighting.

PrimevalRaptor

Yeah that was just me going off on how they easily could have just used that instead of a hybrid that only looks like a whacky osteoderm-wearing albino carcharodontosaur (the Indoraptor was at least a bit more interesting) and yeah, size shouldn't be an issue given what they did to the mosasaur lmao
(Honestly I would kinda like to see what they did with a rauisuchian though, would love some Triassic spotlight and they couldn't mess them up THAT badly.

Probably shouldn't actually post that image here given that Universal is cracking down hard on anyone who shares it.

On other topics, according to some leaks on it:
-It won't be blind, the white eyes are just so they can CGI in the pupils and iris and such
-Osteoderms were a Universal mandate, apparently some exec really loves theropods with armor because it's also the reason why the BABR Allosaurus has huge spikes too
-It won't fight the T. rex, or at least no leaks mention it doing so. Apparently Rexy plays a relatively small role where she has a scene unattached to the rest of the plot. It might fight something though given that it's apparently going to be a part of the huge Dinosaurs Stampede in Malta.

ITdactyl

The last 2 movies have been pointing out that Rexy is tired, old and way past her prime.  And yet all signs seem to point to her having another showdown with this freshly baked beastie...

Also, what's with all the spoiler tags for posts that don't even have spoilers in them?(no offense meant)  I mean, leaked plot details and photos are definitely spoilers; but I'm under the impression that opinions, theories and guesses should be posted freely.

Where can I find the JWD leaks?

i'm gonna find this guy and leave him alone in a room with some angry emus for a while and see if that influences design choice over the next few films

Bit of an old warrior trope, she's a fighter, fights may have been harder but she's still Queen.  I'm expecting more tyrannosaurs to show up anyway, a return of the green Buck design. Recall that pair never fought another dinosaur...

I was using them as even the name might give something away used in context. Hard to tell what exactly others don't know and might be upset by.

Leak of an animatronic potentially used in the film.
Spoiler

Looks like the Acrocanthosaurus from the Warpath game.

Spoiler
So, Nanmu was not thaaaat far away with their Giga?^^

Blade-of-the-Moon

I actually think Nanmu's would have been a bit better design wise.   That said any animatronic so far has been layered with cg work so who knows what the final look will be.

Colin Trevorrow has confirmed the two species in the image
Spoiler
The small feathered one is Moros, the jaw is from Giganotosaurus.

After all these years, Universal has found a way to get me to see a Fast and Furious movie. ::)

Do I need to spoiler this? Whatever doing it anyways:
Spoiler

Glad to see confirmation of these two. And OMG can we talk about how beautiful that Moros is? The only thing we have is a hindlimb, but I think this is a wonderful take on it considering that. A massive improvement for this franchise. Finally. I cannot wait to see the Giganotosaurus. Interestingly enough, in the poster you can make you very subtle protofeathers or quills on it. Interesting choice. Edit: May actually be a new T. rex instead based on the plot details some articles revealed.

I haven't found a twitter link or something of the full sized thing to grab, but here's both Sam Neil's and Jurassic Outpost's instagram posts of the poster with the Giganotosaurus teased:

https://www.instagram.com/p/CP6aiKcML9u/

https://www.instagram.com/p/CP6cklOr_0I/

And of course we must talk about the obligatory figure for it coming out. I'm sure David's BotM will still be much better then Mattel's (proportions definitely, and paintwork obviously), but gosh this is a great starting point for them anyways.

While I'm still skeptical the other additions will have faulty wings (I mean I am keeping my expectations low to be on the safe side), but this is a great start.

Edit: Also feeling nostalgic for that Moros toy leak from last year. Can't believe we still have like a whole year to go before we get to see the toys of the upcoming new creatures.

Edit 2: The only thing I am confused about is why Moros is depicted with the Giganotosaurus here, assuming this takes place in the past, because both time and places were different for them, but that's not a big issue really. Plenty of dinosaur films from before get things like that wrong, but that doesn't stop them from being enjoyable.

It may also just be a fun thing not entirely from the film, but just there to show us something and highlight two of the film's new creatures while at it.

Although I did see this is intended to be set back during the Cretaceous period:

https://reddit.com/r/JurassicPark/comments/nw79d8/what_the_5_minute_preview_will_be/

with 7 new species never before seen in any of the films too! This is wild news yo! And you all know what that means! More figures in the mainline. I cannot wait for next year already.

I'm curious if the feathers will be a story point... or if they'll just appear matter-of-factly with no explanation (re: JP3 quills).

*edit*
For the people who asked privately: didn't mean to upset anyone, but I didn't put spoiler tags because that image was an official teaser (though I agree that it's pretty spoilery).

PrimevalRaptor

This is proooobably "just" a flashback to give us actual dinosaurs for once without "removing" the JP designs (though there should be more) but man. That Moros is amazing, hands seem rather correct, feathers, lips, it's perfect! Probably the best dinosaur JW gave us.
I hope this may finally improve the public's perception of feathered dinosaurs and hopefully spawn some great models/toys (I like quite a few of the Mattel ones but we know Papo likes to get "inspired" by JP)
Exciting!
