My Kickstarter models are all ready to come from Mike at Everything Dinosaur. He was very thoughtfully waiting until the newly arrived PNSO Microraptor was loaded onto their website, so that I could order it and save some postage by combining the two orders.

Unboxed my nasuto, he's a bit smaller than I expected, I thought he'd be more like the Resaurus Trike which have, but thats fine. I really like this size, not too big, not too small.  Its so neat looking, fun to put in different poses...I tried to make him sit and he sorta can though it doesn't look exactly natural, lol.
a couple questions:
is the browm blackish beak supposed to be all the same color? mine has lighter paint on the edge, dont know if thats normal or the paint rubbed off.
is the back leg knee joint supposed to move backwards? I can only really get it to rotate around.

Gothmog the Baryonyx

If I'd have know before hand I would have done similar avatar_ceratopsian @ceratopsian not with the Microraptor but I would have added the Papo Megaloceras to the order  but never mind.

Oh and I'm only keeping 3 of the 4 I bought in the kickstarter, the Protoceratops, Zuniceratops and Psittacosaurus.
I will be selling the Monoclonius. If anyone here is interrupting in that and didn't get the kickstarter I may have what you're looking for.
Megalosaurus, Iguanodon, Archaeopteryx, Cetiosaurus, Compsognathus, Hadrosaurus, Brontosaurus, Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, Albertosaurus, Herrerasaurus, Stenonychosaurus, Deinonychus, Maiasaura, Carnotaurus, Baryonyx, Argentinosaurus, Sinosauropteryx, Microraptor, Citipati, Mei, Tianyulong, Kulindadromeus, Zhenyuanlong, Yutyrannus, Borealopelta, Caihong

That should be a hinge/swivel joint. You might need to run the legs under warm water to loosen them up.

The gang's all here! And yes, I got all of them :P

They're awesome, I love them! The only criticism I have is that I wish the back legs had a bit more movement ability and I really wish the Psittacosaurus had an alternate pair of feet like the raptors did, but other than that they're great. Of course some of them also had some stiff joints/jaws but that was expected.

And don't ask which is my favorite, I can't even decide ::)

that's what it looked like but I didn't want to force it. Thanks!

I'll try to share the pics after I eat but here's a link to the new update on the 1/18th Protoceratops. Absolutely amazed at how much articulation on this little one is pulled off.

Edit: I should have mentioned it has two interchangeable leg parts from the knee down too. A bit late but here is some pics:

He also posted today a quick wip look at the package art and design for the wave 2 figures:

Now normally I would share the links to the post on FB for more information, but I'll just be sending the instagram links instead I think. The new FB design hit me recently, and it is really sluggish (and combined with what is a terrible mobile-like ui), and I'm no longer seeing any way to share posts the way I previously could, by right clicking on the comments and opening them up in a new tab since the site no longer seems to be html based.

My models have not arrived yet. Do I need to get worried and do something?

ceratopsian

I would contact whoever was sending them and enquire. You did request split shipping, if you had preordered models in different waves, I take it?

Moodyraptor

I got my styracosaurus today, absolutely beautiful model, so pleased with it, BUT I cannot get the tail to attach, the ball seems too big for the joint and it won't clip on. Anyone got any suggestions?

M @Moodyraptor Use a hairdryer to heat up the tail and ball if you have one, it works extremely quickly (2-3 mins). If you lack that run the ball and tail under hot water for a little while then attach it (3-5 mins).

M @Moodyraptor - I put some water in a mug. Very hot but not boiling. Held the tail in the water for about 30 seconds. It took a bit of force, more so with some than others. But it worked. I had to try two or three times with the Medusaceratops. Persevere!

Yeah, I had a lot of trouble putting the tail on one of mine too, I'm pretty sure it was also the Medusaceratops :P

Thank you, worked a treat! And thanks avatar_Dinoxels @Dinoxels for the suggestion, though I don't have a hairdryer  :)

ceratopsian

M @Moodyraptor - brilliant, really pleased to hear your Styracosaurus is no longer tailless!

I opened up my Nasutoceratops and Diabloceratops today and their tails popped on straightaway.  Must say I'm rather tempted by the Styracosaurus too....

Dusty Wren

The Styracosaurus really is a lovely figure. I was not a fan of the color scheme when I saw the photos online, but in hand, I like the colors a lot more. David put a lot of subtle variations into the reds and greens that give the paint job a lot of depth when you look at it up close. And the head sculpt is stunning.
