David posted this today and said: "Recently received this amazing print of a 1/18 Pentaceratops skull, sculpted by Raul Ramos for Creative Beast Studio. What will this be for you ask? More will be revealed later, but feel free to speculate for now. :)"

Any ideas?

Didn't he use a similar print to help sculpt the Styracosaurus? I imagine a similar thing might happen.

Alternatively, a line of skulls might be the ceratopsian line's version of the accessory packs.

Yeah he had Jake from the Saurian team do some digital sculpting stuff as a starting point for the Styracosaurus.

I am also wondering what is going on with the skull here. Guess it's just a matter of time before we find out though.

I wonder what the surprise ceratopsian next week will be too (that was mentioned on the colored Triceratops concept art, which looks lovely too).

The only theories that come to my mind are: 1) he want also to make an articulated line of ceratopsian skeletons or 2) he want to make some kind of ceratopsian anatomy kit.
Any of this 2 possibllities are definitely intriguing, at least for me!

Killekor
Bigger than a camarasaurus,
and with a bite more stronger that the T-Rex bite,
Ticamasaurus is certainly the king of the Jurassic period.

With Balaur feet, dromaeosaurus bite, microraptor wings, and a terrible poison, the Deinoraptor Dromaeonychus is a lethal enemy for the most ferocious hybrid too.

Either of those would be really cool, the only toy ceratopsian skeletons I've seen with articulation are all Triceratops. Would be cool to have a line to show off how very weird their skulls are!

I rather like the bottle opener idea actually!

That or maybe fridge magnets (or both ;)).

Here's the "bonus" BotM Ceratopsian color design, a revised version of the Centrosaurus! This one is still based on the Indo-Chinese forest lizard (Calotes mystaceus) but it also takes inspiration from the BotM Monoclonius (juvenile Centrosaurus).

I kind of liked the old one better but oh well! Now it looks a lot more like an adult version of the Monoclonius.

I think this is much better looking then the other one. Having it match the juvenile/Monoclonius is a good idea too. Dang now I kind of want this and that one even though I wasn't even planning on it to begin with.

Darn I was hoping the bonus would be Udanoceratops, ha ha. I like both versions of the Centro and probably would have bought it either way.

I'm happy to see that David changed the color scheme of the Centrosaurus. I was quite doubtful about that one. This one looks a lot better, probably the best one of the entire series! Certainly I'll get it, possibly with the Monoclonius and the Psittacosaurus.
At this point I really can't wait that the campaign starts! Although now I'll like to see some prototypes. Any news about them?
Plus, the Velociraptor Vs Protoceratops set will feature repaints of the 2 figures? I hope yes for the Protoceratops (because I don't like it's actual color scheme) and no for the raptor (because Mr. Silva REALLY exaggerated repainting that sculpt several times with different species names).

Great model. I'm happy to finally see that the prototype of the Styracosaurus is almost complete; I can't wait to see it painted!

David posted a preview of the finished Centrosaurus prototype, along with some other news:

"Hey everyone- hope you've all been well lately! I've been getting plenty of work in on the Ceratopsians and am feeling pretty good about the upcoming figures. My posts will likely be a bit more sporadic for the next few months as the Kickstarter campaign approaches, set for mid- September, as there is still much to do in order to make it the epic event that I have planned. But not to worry, I will still have plenty to share with you all along the way. Next up- the full reveal of the Beasts of the Mesozoic Centrosaurus! Photography now in progress... full gallery coming soon!"

Shonisaurus

I suppose Beasts of the Mesozoic ceraptosides will be available at the beginning of the year 2020. It will be interesting to see those figures on the net. They are collector's figures like the PNSO figures. Apart from that they focus on rare ceraptosides in the market of figures.

Killekor

The Centrosaurus looks even better than in the concept art! I can't wait to see more photos of it!
So the campaign will be launched in mid September... sad news. Maybe Mr. Silva delayed it because he'll sculpt more prototypes than the originally planned ones? Because the presence also of bigger ceratopsians like the Triceratops and Pentaceratops increased the number of non-stretch goals that can be pledged immediately, right?

The ceraptosides that I miss are the arrhinoceratops and especially the anchiceratops. It is a very important ceraptoside together with the other one mentioned among the big gola ceraptosides. Apart from that they are two preferred long-goat ceraptosides apart from the pentaceratops, kosmoceratops, of course triceratops and torosaurus and among the cephates with small gola I prefer protoceratops, monoclonius and centrosaurus.

By the way Killekor within what is possible I never thought that the sales campaign of BoTM ceratopsids was launched in September I thought that these products would be marketed later this year or early next.
