David posted some pictures of the finished Centrosaurus prototype, with some comparisons of it next to some of the other Ceratopsians!

It looks so beautiful, I adore the colors ;D

suspsy

This line is really shaping up great. Way more exciting than the raptor series—which I like!

This is the one I am getting for 100%! I Just LOVE the colors!

Shonisaurus

It is a collection of perfect ceratopsians, even their touches of paint I like despite not being conservative. The figures of cerattosidos of Beasts of the Mesozoic is a set of figures of collection necessary for all person interested in those rare herbivorous dinosaurs as I say, (the rhinoceros of the Cretaceous).

Halichoeres

It's a beauty. The only thing that might stop me from getting it is a really nice version from Safari. Conveniently, the Kickstarter campaign will start around the time we're seeing the Safari reveals.

The Centrosaurus looks even better than in the concept art! I can't wait to see more photos of it!
So the campaign will be launched in mid September... sad news. Maybe Mr. Silva delayed it because he'll sculpt more prototypes than the originally planned ones? Because the presence also of bigger ceratopsians like the Triceratops and Pentaceratops increased the number of non-stretch goals that can be pledged immediately, right?

Killekor

Well, he added some common species, but subtracted most of the obscure ones, so I don't think the number changed. I think it's more that everything takes longer than you think it will. Silva gets things done, but so far the BotM series has been beset by delays of various kinds as his target dates have proved a little optimistic. As far as I'm concerned, that's fine, but it's something to factor in.
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

The photos of the finished Centrosaurus left me for a moment speechless.
all I can say is "WOW! What an exceptional and amazing model!"

Thanks for the answer! In any case I'm fine too on waiting the campaign if this means that we'll get better models. Let's just hope that the period that we'll wait to receive the figures will be shorter than of the last campaign!

Bigger than a camarasaurus,
and with a bite more stronger that the T-Rex bite,
Ticamasaurus is certainly the king of the Jurassic period.

With Balaur feet, dromaeosaurus bite, microraptor wings, and a terrible poison, the Deinoraptor Dromaeonychus is a lethal enemy for the most ferocious hybrid too.

Im always fine with waiting so I can catch up on other stuff I have to get, lol!
The centrosaurus colors look great, make me think of lightening.

Honestly I'm a little relieved the kickstarter has been pushed back, as it gives him more time to work on more prototypes before then, but also allows me to finish catching up with Jurassic's stuff during the summer.

That aside, that Centrosaurus is absolutely beautiful and I'm really planning on this one now, even though I wasn't originally. I have a feeling I could be changing my mind about others as future prototypes are finished too.

Always better to push back a deadline and get all your stuff finished than to reach a deadline with a heap of unfinished stuff.

Some new photos David posted today of the finished Centrosaurus prototype compared to some other toys!

If this one is as big as it is, then the Triceratops is going to be a monster for sure (I mean I didn't doubt it would be large, but this puts it into perspective).

Shonisaurus

Considering that centrosaurus is not one of the largest ceraptosides, I figure that the adult triceratops from David Silva's Beasts of the Mesozoic will be immense. The one that can afford to buy it will need some Olympic-sized shelves.  ::)

Killekor

Oh my god, that thing is HUGE!!! Why Mr. Silva made them that big? It's not a good strategy for a crowdfunding, because (as I'm reading in some posts), some people doesn't have enough space and money to get those. I hope that it's price is not too high.
I'm feeling so lucky that Triceratops isn't my favorite dinosaur! Who ask for a JWFK colossal Trike should wait the BotM one, which probably will be the biggest dinosaur toy ever made.
Plus, I hope that if Mr. Silva makes a sauropod line he'll not make them at 1:18 scale. Same thing for Tyrannosaurs and Spinosaurids.

1:18 Sauropods would be pretty ridiculous both in price and size, but I hope his next line is in 1:18. I'm not sure if he's decided only Tyrannosaurs or a random selection of popular theropods like he said, but it would suck if his T. rex doesn't scale with his Trike.

The third series is strictly tyrannosaurs. David Silva has mentioned that he'd eventually like to do other groups of theropods too, however.

And yes, it certainly would be disappointing if the future BotM T. rex doesn't end up in scale with the Triceratops, but my impression is that Silva is far too busy right now with the ceratopsians to worry about the tyrannosaurs.

The price of these ceraptosidos will be at least double or triple that of the raptors. For me unfortunately they are inaccessible, I will be happy for those members of the forum who have the fortune to collect them.

Flaffy

I've said this before and I'll say it again, imo a 1/24 scale for the large ceratopsids would've been much better. Both for space and economic reasons.

Some new pics of the Styracosaurus sculpt! It's coming along nicely :)

Ceratopsianking

This Styracosaurus is my favorite of the Beasts of the Mesozoic Ceratopsians, I can't wait to see this one all finished up.

AcroSauroTaurus

I kinda wish David would make smaller, more affordable versions of these. Because they're amazing, but I just won't have the money or space for them...
