A repaint of the beautiful Carnotaurus model from the Carnegie Safari line. What do you think?

That's fantastic! I love the colour choices, and the dappling above the belly and tail is a nice touch :D

I like how the osteoderms pop out against the dark background. It makes the figure look very interesting!

Mini Minmi

Very cool! I'm especially fond of the dark spots between the brown and the white belly, it's such a nice little detail that makes it look even more real and alive. Beautiful work.

Lanthanotus

Personally I wouldn't have painted the osteoderms and claws in such a bright color, but besides that I really like the color scheme and the application with the shades and transitions. Very well done and much more attractive than the original one :)

I think you are right about the osteoderms etc. I may change them.  ;)

Cretaceous Crab

One of the best repaints of any figure I have seen. Good job!

Just tried out a repaint (although technically it is a paint) of a Invicta Triceratops. I might still change it a bit, but I think it is alright as it is.

Looks amazing! Really brings out the detail in the sculpt :D

EDIT: Btw, the site you're hosting them on won't host them forever and will eventually expire, deleting the imaging from the thread. Might I suggest using Flickr or Imgur to host your images instead?

By the way, the images of the Carnotaurus are the latest, after a small update on the paint job (but I don't know if the difference is at all noticable ;) )

Sauropelta

Better than the new wild safari paint job. Like the red/blue, looks like a lizard. Dark brown suits carno better than red even.
Sauropelta (Meaning 'lizard shield') is a genus of nodosaurid dinosaur that existed in the Early Cretaceous Period of North America. One species (S. edwardsorum) has been named although others may have existed. Anatomically, Sauropelta is one of the most well-understood nodosaurids, with fossilized remains recovered in the U.S. states of Wyoming, Montana, and possibly Utah.

I ordered this Invicta Stenonychosaurus (Troodon) to be repainted by Martin Garratt. I think he did a wonderful job. (I had Mr Garratt paint it after his own fancy by giving him just one general guideline, namely that I like warm/earth tones/colors best on this kind of animal.)

Shonisaurus

That stenonychosaurus of Invicta is great! I recognize that these aesthetic arrangements to monochrome figures (and those that are not monocolour) totally improve the image of a product in this case the stenonychosaurus of Invicta.

I have never cared for this sculpt, but you really bring out the best in it.
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

It is a repaint by Martin Garratt, so he deserves all the credit. I am sorry if it would seem this is my work. I could never achieve these kinds of results. Maybe I shouldpost this in another thread.

postsaurischian

:D Beautiful colours by Martin! And the base got upgrated as well.
Even though the figure is pretty outdated, I still like its classic character.
