Great idea for a review! I had one of those as a kid. Found most of it the other day at my parents' place, but the tail's gone missing. Ah, well.

I must confess I'd never heard of it. When I saw "sauron" in the url, I thought it might be this guy:

But that would have been Toy Biz, I guess, not Playmates.

I really wish now that I'd gotten Talon and Armadon when I had the chance.:(

I have the 30cm Diablo (which is essentially an upsized red recolour of that mold). I like it because it has a soft rubbery feel, kind of like the real stop motion puppet would have had.

Monkeysaurus

Primal Rage was my favorite game back in the day. I was at a bar the other day and happened across an old arcade of that game. My buddy asked if I needed some alone time with the machine because I was fawning all over it like it was a beautiful woman.

I never played Primal Rage as a kid, but I loved Killer Instinct for SNES- of course I usually played as Riptor.  :))  Too bad he never got a toy!

Primal Rage...that was one mother hubbard of a game.

I had the SNES version myself. It was better than the Genesis, although they censored Chaos' Golden Shower finisher.

I had the SEGA Mega Drive version (Genesis). I could never perform the special moves. Though to be honest, console ports are poor compared to the original. The original arcade is where it's at >:D

Anyone who enjoys the game should check this vid out:

I want to own a stop motion dino puppet :'(

Takama

I had most of the Dinosaur Toys as a Kid. includeing the Slash fang.     The onlyone that i still have to this day is Armodon. He was my favorite

suspsy

Damn. I wish I'd come across Slash Fang back in the day. He and Necrosan command a fair bit of money nowadays!

Primal Rage thread maybe? Just saying. I never played it, so I consider myself a little bit deprived. But I see it's pretty cheap on Amazon and I enjoy collecting older games so I'll have to pick it up for sure.

Awesome video. And yes, owning one of those puppets would be almost sexy!

Review number 49, and the last review needed of an Invicta model. Next up will be review number 50 and to celebrate I've chosen something pretty unique, I hope y'all enjoy it. Lets just say that it will appeal to movie buffs as well as us dinosaur collectors.

Concavenator

Oh wow you got these two! Did you get the Deluxe too?

suspsy

Nope. Nor am I interested in acquiring it when it does come out, to be honest. These two are plenty.
