Those are pretty good! Are they 3D prints?

Resin casts from what I assume are cleaned up 3D prints. A lot of their models look like digital sculpts, and they also sell some STL files to print yourself. They have a nice looking kronosaurus that I hope they offer as a cast someday: https://antimatter-games.com/product/beast-of-kronos-stl/

How much do the resin casts sell for?

I am quite happy with this little haul that finally arrived from Germany. Thanks to avatar_postsaurischian @postsaurischian for all the help, It was due to his assistance I manage to get some figures I really wanted for a long time. The Stegosaurs are favorites of mine, but the true gems of the lot are the Carnegie Baby Apatosaurus, German variant from 1988 and the quite rare Safari Ltd. Emerald Tree Boa.

:D  Phew! avatar_Ikessauro @Ikessauro, I'm soo glad to see your post. It took almost two months for the package to arrive (was it two weeks last time?).
I was really worried it got lost. The happier I am now. I should have kept the Boa and say it got lost on its way to me ;D .

About the Carnegie Apatosaurus baby - I'm pretty sure it's the German Schleich distributed version from 1988/89 because it looks exactly like mine which I bought back then.

Schleich distributed the Carnegies until 1993, so that makes sense. I've also narrowed down the release of this version to 1989. The mystery is if Schleich was not only distributing them but producing their own color variants. It seems to be the same mold as both the previous (beige and gray) and subsequent (green and dark green) versions. I actually just bought a green baby Apato with the same exact mold/imprint and hard black vinyl as this one seems to have. There seem to have been at least 3-4 different major color schemes within the span of 2-3 years (as you can see above, Allosaurus had even more!), so some of this has to have been simultaneously produced. Production happening in different countries or for different distributors would make a lot of sense.

I have a hunch that the super rubbery ones were made by Bullyland, since the rubber and paint style closely matches their first dinosaur figures from 1985. Does anyone know what kind of material Schleich used for their other animal figures when n the late 80s? The Carnegies with the more subtle blended paint remind my a bit of Schleich, and they usually have very solid, hard, inflexible plastic.

They look like resin casts to me, which I believe most miniatures are; but, I'm no expert.

Been a little while since my last update, but these are my most recent acquisitions.

I know many have already stated it, but the Eofauna Atlasaurus is even better in hand.  I think I will be needing to get their entire lineup.

Faelrin

avatar_Martwad @Martwad That's a nice haul there. I've been eyeing on some of those figures for a while now. Maybe some day I'll get around to getting them.

Got my hands on these really cool tabletop models from Antimatter Games (https://antimatter-games.com/):

An orthocone:

Xiphactinus:

And this funky sea dragon (not a dinosaur obliviously but kinda had a cool monstrous plesiosaur look so I picked it up):

They have some other cool stylized prehistoric critters that I'll hopefully pick up one day. I love when tabletop companies incorporate things like this into their setting, they always have such an interesting/fresh style to them.

avatar_paintingdinos @paintingdinos did you purchase these printed, or did you purchase the printable files? I saw that the fish is currently sold out in the one menu

avatar_Gothmog the Baryonyx @Gothmog the Baryonyx I congratulate you on your new acquisition the WWD leaellynasaura is a very cool and pretty figure and I remember that it came with the figure of the utahraptor from the same BBC series.

Libraraptor

WWD Leaellynasaura, although depicted quite wrongly, is still on my hunting list.

Great find avatar_Gothmog the Baryonyx @Gothmog the Baryonyx that figurs's so hard to come across, especially on it's own.

paintingdinos

avatar_SBell @SBell  They were already cast. I think I nabbed the last xiphactinus, which went out of stock right after I purchased. I imagine they'll cast more in the future.

avatar_Ikessauro @Ikessauro The orthocone was USD $26.99, the xiphactinus was USD $29.99.

Faelrin

avatar_Gothmog the Baryonyx @Gothmog the Baryonyx Congrats with scoring that little one.

So today I have a very special acquisition, that is not a figure, but rather is a book. I haven't read this since I was like 11 or 12. I only paid like $0.05 for it and about $7 or so for shipping, which was extremely cheap. It's in great shape as well. I got another book in this series a few years ago (in which I need to update that thread with newer images, and maybe provide some reviews on them, etc).

Anyways here is the book:

Those with keen eyes might be aware that two of the creatures on the front have striking similarities to two of those Play Visions Prehistoric Amphibians (the Eryops and Triadobatrachus). Now considering how long its been since that I've last read this (or any of the other books in the series, with the exception of the one I got a couple years ago), I have honestly forgotten most of the details within, as well as the species and artwork (only exceptions that I did surprisingly remember after all this time were the pages with the cooksonia and cockroach, centipede and scorpion, and at least the inclusion of Ichthyostega). Skimming through it, I was certainly surprised by a very familiar looking Platyhystrix too!

Many of the species represented by those figures are within this book, although they don't quite resemble the figures. I'm not entirely sure what came first, but the book was originally published in 1995 (although it was in Spanish, although the copy I received today is a reprint/English translation dated from 1996).

Lastly here's a quick look at the adorable Ichthyostega artwork that's been featured throughout it, that has managed to stick with me for so long, and to this day still remains as one of my favorite Devonian, and in turn Paleozoic animals:

Edit: In case anyone is curious the illustrator is credited as Luis Rizo, and author is Andreu Llamas. Sorry that I forgot to mention that earlier.

I congratulate you Faelrin for your new acquisition. It makes me remember very happy times in life that kind of books. Those books of dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals remind me of ancient artists such as Burian, who I was fortunately contemporary with.
