Thank you!
And congratulations to everyone for your new acquisitions!

avatar_Ikessauro @Ikessauro where did you find the Mattel Brachiosaurus? It looks gigantic!

Killekor

avatar_Killekor @Killekor I got it here in Brazil, we are already getting distribution of the Brachio and Indominus around here, although not in large numbers.

Silvanusaurus

I got the new CollectA Baryonyx, seen here amongst his dysfunctional family at a recent gathering. I actually like it way more in person than I expected from the photos. I am not a fan of the stiff, dead straight pose with the upwards angled head, but it is undoubtedly one of the best Baryonyx figures, certainly one of the most naturalistic ones, as I think is evident in the picture.  ^-^ I have ideas about customising the pose a bit too...

avatar_Silvanusaurus @Silvanusaurus Collecta's baryonyx is a figure that has been highly anticipated by the members of DTF. I congratulate you on your acquisition. It makes very good set with other representations of toy and paleoartísticas of diverse marks including old figures like the baryonyx of Schleich of 2002.

Faelrin

avatar_Ikessauro @Ikessauro Absolutely glad to see someone here has that Brachiosaurus already. Quite a large haul you got there too in addition to that. Quite an interesting collection on those walls you have too.

Thanks, take a look at my collection thread, I recently updated my collection pics there.

I'm very happy with your new acquisitions. Seeing the beauty of Collecta's elasmotherium gives me a healthy envy sincerely speaking.

I was blown away by the elasmothere size. I haven't had a chance to compare yet, but if it's to scale with the other 1:20 mammals, I definitely underappreciated the size of this rhino!

I haven't really posted much here lately. Not that I haven't gotten anything, but nothing major, a few LW figures mostly.

But today a whole bunch of stuff landed!

[snip]

I've been waiting for a while to place my MiniZoo order and I think I was patient long enough (and right after...Safari went on 10% off...but there was just one thing anyway)

This is a super international bunch--Safari, CollectA, Papo, PNSO and Boki...yes B @Bokisaurus (yeah, that wasn't MiniZoo)!

A total surprise was 2 Bahariya fish from his thread, the Neoceratodus (or Retodus? The snout is pretty tapered)

All in all a good day! Just waiting on one more from England...

Those fishes are a wonderful surprise. Very generous of B @Bokisaurus

I was all smiles when I opened that parcel. I spotted the Bawitius first. Then I was blown away when I pulled a lungfish out too!

:)) Glad they arrived safely :))

PrimevalRaptor

Found the Schleich Dracorex in a store this weekend finally and had to pick it up, I wanted the Diabloceratops at first but this guy just won me over with how lifelike it looks (and I also really like the sculpting on the neck!)

Shonisaurus

I congratulate you on your new acquisition of Schleich's dracorex sincerely I like it even more than its Safari counterpart.

Pachyrhinosaurus

I'm still on the fence on getting one of those myself. I like the sculpt but not so much the colors.

Here's my latest round of Marx dinosaurs. The brontosaurus is from the original large mold group and the trachodon is from the uncommon tan medium mold group, produced only for the #3398 playset.

I finally managed to find the Dinosaurs of China Yangchuanosaurus (after having passed one up at a Marshall's a decade ago).

And saving the best for last, a duo of Triassic creatures from Rush Studios!

Metoposaurus

And a phytosaur.

Silvanusaurus

What is Rush Studios? Are those one-off models?

Pachyrhinosaurus

#811
Rush studios made mostly museum-type models and has been defunct for a while now. Malcolm Mlodoch (forum member Dinonikes) was among the artists involved. Malcolm might still have the molds to some of them but unfortunately he isn't very active on here, and I don't know if he still takes orders. I can't say much more but I'm sure someone else on the forum knows more on them than I do.

Where did you get the Rush studios models? Malcolm is pretty tough to get figures from now!

Pachyrhinosaurus

I bought both on eBay though I don't know where the seller got them.

Smilodon P.

1/6 scale Smilodon Populator head by Jun´s Anatomy (https://www.junsanatomy.com):

With other one-sixth figures:

Photoshot with other south american prehistoric animals:

Shonisaurus

That smilodon head does justice in regard to the quality of that well-known and popular saber-toothed feline. I'm glad for your purchases.

Killekor

Congratulations to all for your new acquisitions!

Yesterday I bought a Schleich Triceratops:

As usual, the promotional photos ruined it. It's a great figure!

Killekor
Bigger than a camarasaurus,
and with a bite more stronger that the T-Rex bite,
Ticamasaurus is certainly the king of the Jurassic period.

With Balaur feet, dromaeosaurus bite, microraptor wings, and a terrible poison, the Deinoraptor Dromaeonychus is a lethal enemy for the most ferocious hybrid too.

True, Schleich triceratops is a great figure for me it is one of my favorites along with those of Safari, PNSO, Battat and now Mojo. Maybe the body paint could be improved but like everything in life that can be extended to other toy brands. One hundred percent perfection does not exist in this life.

I congratulate you on your new acquisition Killekor.

Mellow Stego

Keep calm and love dinosaurs

Shonisaurus

I congratulate you for having acquired the spinops is one of the best dark and rare ceraptosides that exists in the toy and collectibles market.
