Maybe the split should have started from the video about cryptids then?

Whoa, you guys took things way off topic. Thread split: http://dinotoyblog.com/forum/index.php?topic=7143.0  C:-)

Back to the new for 2019 Safari Ltd dinosaur toys...
Sorry about that...   :-[

I echo the wish for more Triassic creatures. It's been nearly 20 years since Walking With Dinosaurs, and we still don't have a mainstream, easily accessible figure of Placerias.

Quite the glowing review by Bioniclesaurus over at You Tube of the new 2019 Safari Ltd Camarasaurus. This will be one of the first that I order once it becomes available and I really hope that it does not change too much, if at all, from what he states is "an early production sample" (Of course there are still more reveals out there to come so who knows if an as yet unseen figure may bump this one from my top spot so far) Great to see it compared with the Carnegie Camarasaurus and some more recent Sauropod releases from Safari.

Question: Are the prestosuchus's fourth and fifth digits being clawed intentional or did the factory make a mistake like they did with Iguanodon's fifth digit by painting it with a claw?
Also has Safari fixed Iguanodon's paint application to not paint the fifth digit?

Thanks!

I'm loving that Camarasaurus even more now, it's funny because on Bioniclesaurus Facebook "teaser" it look weird, mostly the colors. But it's wonderful, a little big compared to the Diplodocus but they still display good together . I wonder how it looks against the Carnegie latest Brachiosaurus.

The factory didn't make a mistake I sculpted it with claws because that is the information I had at the time. I am following up on that question right now.

As for the Iguanodon I informed Safari Ltd of the paint application mistake when I became aware of it but I haven't seen any samples that have been made since so I do not know if the latest production pieces show the correction.

All powerful Doug, lord of cool sculptures, would it be possible for more Triassic creatures? Not just dinosaurs but also reptiles and such as they had some WEIRD animals.

I have an Iguanodon that has the correction. Sorry for the crap image quality btw. Also yes my hands are really that tiny.

Thank you for that Faelrin, I just got finished sending you a PM about that since I saw you got one in 2017. You can ignore my PM.  :D

Faelrin

Lol I just responded to that too. Oh well. I'm glad that it could help, even if the image quality is rather poor. That's what happens when I have to use my phone's shoddy camera, instead of one of my parent's android phone camera's.

I would say anything is possible but in the end it is up to Safari Ltd and one of the main concerns is whether or not they think it will sell. I can tell you bringing a new toy out is no small investment.
What I tell everyone is send your specific ideas to Safari Ltd through their contact on their web site that they have for new ideas. Safari Ltd does listen to their fans and if they think there is a market for it they will proceed.

Hey Flaffy, I have an answer on the claws or no claws issue from the scientist who assisted me but I want to include a link to the reviewer and member here TheRealBionicleSaurus, how do you do that @ link like you did for me. I see I need the member # but I can't find it anywhere.

avatar_Doug Watson @Doug Watson I know how to do it: Simply put in an @ symbol then start typing the users name, the more you type the shorter the list of names get. When you find the user you want to tag click on the username.
