Well, I think we've had quite enough Triceratopses, lol.

Correction, we've had had enough Triceratops repaints/retools. We need a new and bigger one. Just one.

avatar_MLMjp @MLMjp I'm desperately wanting a larger triceratops figure. The current one juts seems too tiny. avatar_Dilopho @Dilopho We can just call it Eotriceratops, since you don't want anymore triceratops.

Haha, I'm not actually bothered by the amount of trikes, I was just playin around.

Faelrin

avatar_Dilopho @Dilopho The basic value Dilophosaurus was released in a set exclusive to Kohl's I think.

There was also this blue Dilophosaurus released that seems a little bit similar as the hologram one:

Ah, now I see where the color scheme for the Attack Pack Dilophosaurus from last year came from, same as the model in the diorama scene (with the raptor).

I am extremely confused as to why Mattel hasn't yet made a well-scaled Triceratops. The Dual Strike, while bigger than the Roarivore, is still way too small. The wide variety in their T. rex figures just BEGS for that classic worthy dinosaur opponent: a similarly scaled Triceratops.

I fully expect we will see a better one at some point, but this should have been a priority for Mattel from the get-go.

Dilopho

Drat...they need to stop doing these store exclusives that never make it to the UK.
I don't think I ever even saw the Mosasaurus, nevermind this exclusive stuff.

terrorchicken

I wish they'd make another carnotaurus with better articulation in the head/neck than the previous AA one. Id like it to keep the same colors as the AA/film's though.

just saw pics of the new Dino Rivals dilophosaurus and Blue on Ebay. the dilopho color isnt as obnoxiously vibrant as the promo pics make it look, still rather wait for that other greenish colored one to be released. Is the DR Blue a new sculpt?

That Allosaurus looks way closer to what we were presented with in the movies than the first toy, that's for sure.

Eh, can't agree there

Loon

avatar_terrorchicken @terrorchicken the blues a whole new figure, yeah.

avatar_ChrisLikesDinos @ChrisLikesDinos I think the first one's still closer, really all they need to do is make it a bit more blue and fix the teeth.

Faelrin

Other then the teeth, maybe the placement of the eye, maybe the thin tail, and maybe the shade of blue, the first toy is pretty much accurate to the one in FK, especially in regards to the yellow markings, and red on the crests. It'll be interesting to see how much the new Nasutoceratops and Allosaurus look in this Battle at Big Rock thing, in comparison to these toys, especially since the Allosaurus seems to have gotten quite the make over (with similarities to both the JWE one and the Papo one).

And while I'm at it, may as well make mention of the recent 12 inch Proceratosaurus discovered by Paddock 9 Collecting on instagram, when they were sent these instead of the attack pack Proceratosaurus they ordered on amazon. https://www.instagram.com/p/BxfLxIHl70J/

Blade-of-the-Moon

Mine still says July 3rd for Amazon.  Still nothing on my Mussasaurus either which others were getting.

My Indominus from Entertainment Earth however is processing.

Toasaurus

Im thinking about preordering the mussaurus and quetzalcoatlus and the release dates are june 1st for the mussaurus and june 5th for quetzalcoatlus are these release dates solid or will they change cause i really want to try and pick these up without having to wait a long time for it to ship if theres anyome on the forum that can help me get these figures cause canada walmart is no longer stocking jurassic world stuff and there has been nothing new

Dino Scream3232

avatar_Toasaurus @Toasaurus I preordered the Mussaurus and Proceratosaurus on Amazon. They both said June 1st. However the Proceratosaurus shipped early and I got it in over a week ago. Also someone posted on FB that they ordered two attack Pack Proceratosaurus and received two BASIC Proceratosaurs. No one knew about these new basic Pros until then lol. They are painted in the Coelurus colors and look really cool. So I would definitely preorder from Amazon instead of waiting for stores. https://youtu.be/YF8lM6vhQng

Blade-of-the-Moon

I'd like to see the Basic Proceratosaurus out of package.  The other Basic figures have great sculpts and detail.

I'll keep my Indo from EE in the box, EE usually prides itself on collector quality boxes and packaging, Amazon it's a coin toss lol

Dino Scream3232

avatar_Toasaurus @Toasaurus just the Proceratosaurus shipped. I actually found the Mussaurus ialready in stores. But I still have it preordered on Amazon since it's now my favorite Attack Pack!!

I just received from Amazon the Primal Pal Baby Blue, that I got for my niece's birthday. I'm surprised there hasn't been more talk about this figure on the forum - it's quite cute. It's about the right size for a newborn JP Raptor with alert, bright glass eyes. You press down on her back, causing it to lean forward, open its' jaws and make a variety of movie accurate sounds. Sorry about the lack of photos (I never got around to replacing Photobucket) but here's the Amazon link...

In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.

Despite some lip service from Mattel in regard to distribution from the comments I am seeing and the experience here in Australia they do not seem to have done anything about it! The stores here keep restocking the same handful of figures from the early releases with nothing new at all turning up. Very disappointing. I see the figures I'd like either going for ridiculous prices on eBay or up an Amazon where you can forget about it if you are trying to order from Australia.

It's a pretty cool figure, and not a 1,000.00 like the bigger statues ! lol  It's a good way to get a cute little Blue in your collection. O think I received mine around the first of the month?
