avatar_Toasaurus @Toasaurus I think you should take a look in amazon Canada, I believe it has some of the new stuff as well as old figures. I remember looking for a legacy Ian Malcom figure and finding it on amazon.ca (just check it, is still there, albeit at double the price).

PD: Good news for me, I just discovered that Amazon Spain will be carrying on the legacy Tyrannosaurus rex pack and I already asked for a email notification for when the set becomes available. One less import for me.

I decided to make an edit/comparison to really show why I dislike the new Allosaurus... it's so damn weird looking and disproportional.

Faelrin

I'm not going to be able to un-see this now. Looks much better in your edit though.

Nah, not really - its head was smaller, and tail longer. The new one retools the body, and uses the same limbs though.

Mattel isnt very good with theropods in general. Their insistence on short tails to save plastic and bring the price point down doesn't help.

I didn't like the first allosaurus but now that I can see it in  direct comparison to the new allo it does have better proportions. I just wish they'd fix those damn teeth.

If they reduce head and feet size a bit, and put that back in the tail we'd probably come out pretty good. I wish they'd stop this nonsense.

Jose S.M.

If the Allosaurus looked like that 2019 edited version it would have been one of the best figures of the line.

MLMjp

I said the sculpt of this Allosaurus was an improvement over the old one, I take that back. While the sculpt of the head is an improvement, the figure has worse paint, worst proportions and it seems that it still has balancing issues like the old mold.
