I also got the giganotosaurus and parasaurolophus now

Splonkadumpocus

Of the recent Schleich models, I only own the Quetzalcoatlus (because whatever its flaws, it's better than the Carnegie one) and Saichania (because it's the only Saichania* model available to my knowledge).

*The older Schleich "Saichania" is really a Scolosaurus.

Thanks for the valuable info, Splonkadumpocus! :)

Got these recently:

Velociraptor - I have already 2 of these, and they have different markings under their bellies, but both were released in 2003.

Dilophosaurus

Next, Schleich will present:

GODZILLA on LSD:

Yep, it's ugly all right. That thing looks like it fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down. And then was beaten with an ugly stick from the ugly tree.

Dislike that Carno as much as you want.  It this fuel to the fire that made me purchase it in the first place >:D.

OMG that thing is beautiful?  I didn't realize it was that amazing?  I only have one Schleich at the moment, and it the newer version spinosaurus with the mouth open and close.  Also what do you think of that spinosaurus?  This Carnotaurus is going to go on my favorite list along with my Carnegie Gigantosaurus!

Here is my Collection So Far

Its a slow proces, because im focussed on CollectA
That tyrannosaurus is one of my favorites, i think that will be one of the next figures i get.

Concavenator

I personally wouldn't buy that "Carnotaurus" even if it's free  ;D

docronnie

That Carno reminds me of Disney's Dinosaur, the movie that influenced my then 3 year old daughter to love dinosaurs.

CityRaptor

That most likely was Schleich's intention. The World of History figures that are no just downsized Replica Saurus seem to be based on Popculture.  Basically they doing what Papo does, but worse.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

pylraster

I still think the Schleich Spino's worse than that Carno. At least this one doesn't have clam shell teeth. :D

Everything_Dinosaur

We have had samples of all four world of history 2014 Schleich models at Everything Dinosaur, the paint job and texture/tone of the models does give them a waxy feel but we have had these models for the best part of five months now and they have all been handled quite a bit.  No damage, no chips, no loss of paint, models seem robust to us.

Everything_Dinosaur

First of the 2014 Schleich dinosaur models in stock, first one on line is the light green T. rex:Schleich World of History Dinosaurs}

Other three models to follow soonest.

Everything_Dinosaur

All four of the new for 2014 Schleich prehistoric animal models are now in stock at Everything Dinosaur: World of History Schleich Dinosaurs etc

To recap -
Therizinosaurus which measures approximately 20cm high by 20cm in length with an articulated lower jaw and articulated arms
Raptor model billed as Velociraptor green which measures 18cm in length with a head height of 11cm, this too has articulated arms and a lower jaw
Pentaceratops measuring 17cm long by 11cm to the top of the head crest (our favourite model from these new releases)
Light green T. rex measuring 27cm long approx by 13cm (height of head), with an articulated lower jaw.

We have video reviews of the T. rex and the Pentaceratops up on Youtube, we will post video reviews of the Scythe lizard and Raptor in the near future, plus we also put up more pics on Everything Dinosaur Facebook, Pinterest etc.
