Thanks! It is based off of raccoons.

Yutyrannus

It looks like a coati to me :).

Well coati's are related to raccoons. ;)

Balaur

I have an adorable baby HyPtA D that will be posted today. ;)

Good job on all this new stuff! Good to be back!
Part-time genius!

Balaur

Well thank you! I have other great stuff coming in soon, so look forward to that! ;)

Balaur

I am going to continue my Walking with Dinosaurs series, and soon my fuzzy Tyrannosaurus rex will be posted. No, it is an adult T.rex, with feathers, wings, and the soft feathers go down to its toes!  :o

Also, expect my own versions of the animals from the movie.

Well, it didn't turn out the way I expected, but here it is.

I am kind of organizing them, so I am doing the Gorgosaurus next. (And the Gorgosaurus will be feathered as well, more so than this rex)

Yutyrannus

Awesome :)! Definitely one of your best!

Balaur

Why thank you! :) Then again, I literally just finished my Gorgosaurus three minutes ago, and I think I already outdid myself. ;)
It was a big pain to do these colour schemes, but they end up being some of my best drawings as well.

Balaur

Oh, and speaking of, here is my Gorgosaurus.

I think that's enough drawing for me tonight, unless I feel like I can draw something else.

Yutyrannus

Wow! It sucks there is no gaping mouth face on this forum because if there was I would definitely use it :))! It is so awesome! Also I see you based it on the one in the actual movie just like I did.

Thank you! I am also very proud of this drawing. Believe me, that Tyrannosaurus may have taken me about 45 minutes to complete, but seriously, this Gorgosaurus was like 1 hour and 20 minutes of hell! Still, it pays off in the end!

I've also noticed that in the movie there are actually two models of Gorgosaurus. One is this one, with the male with an enlarge nasal arch and eye horns and iridescent blue scales. The other is grey in colour, but has a less pronounced nasal arch and smaller eye horns. I'm presuming one is male and the other is female. I may do the female, but not anytime soon.

Edit: I am going to do something I have been wanting to do for a very long time but just didn't have the chance or time to do it. Compare my latest piece (Gorgosaurus) to some of my earliest drawings posted here. Now lets compare my very first Tyrannosaurus I did with my Gorgosaurus.

In just a year and a half. Wow. If you remember in my t.rex picture, I didn't know I could scan it, I kept one showing all three toes on each foot, I shrink wrapped it, the feathering was weird, and I just couldn't convince myself at the time that tyrannosaurs such as Gorgosaurus could be as feathered as the one I just finished. Is that insane that I improved that much? Oh crap, what about a year and half from now. Will this piece be obsolete in the future?

Yutyrannus

Yes, your art has REALLY improved ;D! Your most recent pictures look amazing!

I also realize that not only do my pictures look better, but I fell like I am restoring them more as living animals, and not as monsters.

And, I just ate a sandwich, and suddenly I feel motivated to draw! :)

Yutyrannus

Great! Can't wait to see what you draw next! Also, I've decided to redraw the Tyrannosaurus for my series so he'll have more feathers :).

Concavenator

Wow those tyrannosaurs look simply amazing!Looking forward to more.  :)

Balaur

Thanks you Concavenator!

I hope to draw sometime tonight, and when I do, expect more feathery goodness. My next drawing will be my WWD Leaellynasaura (as if I haven't drawn it enough. ;). )
