I'd also place bets on Saltasaurus, Cryolophosaurus, and Baryonyx... As for what Id like to see.... I'd love to see Safari add more Permian animals.... Definitely more obbballs from the Triassic period, a large sauropod would be appreciated... but I'd prefer one from the Cretaceous rather than a Brachie.... we need an update for that species but I'd like to see new species get represented before we go back to the classics again.  Any armored dinos would be appreciated, marine reptiles are always wonderful and I would like to see some more feathered fellows... maybe a Therizinosaurid or a Ornithomimus?

Number 1 priority for me right now is a new Therizinosaurus.

I would wish for some prehistoric mammals, but I feel like we'll get maybe one next year. I'd like a nice big Paraceratherium, but when was the last time we got a really big Safari figure?

triceratops83

They still have three Ornithopods left to re-do, the Safari Hypacrosaurus and the Carnegie Corythosaurus and Maiasaura. I'd be happy for any of these. I know it is highly unlikely but it would blow my socks off if we got Corythosaurus and Hypacrosaurus the same year. For some diversity.
In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.

Hopefully Safari will listen to us when making a paraceratherium and that it is of a size more than acceptable.

That would be like getting Gorgosaurus and Albertosaurus in the same year, or Anchiceratops and Xenoceratops, or Euoplocephalus and Scolosaurus. Sure, it'd be lovely, but highly unlikely.

Unfortunately, it is so. I would like every year Safari and the rest of brands of toy dinosaurs to market fifty new developments at least (I mean it) since I am many years old and my time is running out in my case. I honestly prefer that many new features be revealed, although obviously I could not buy them almost all of them, but at least my eyes enjoyed it.

But what has been said is impossible and honestly although it is not on my part it seems like a joke in bad taste.

Regarding Safari, there was a year in which he commercialized regaliceratops and triceratops (two ceraptosides), so it would not seem strange to me, that Safari might commercialize two figures of the same species of dinosaurs and even prehistoric animals. That is not impossible.

Seriously, when are we going to get a nice, big titanosaur?

avatar_profnik @profnik I really agree with that list of yours. I really hope they can make any of those. I would particularly be interested in a Paleozoic toob and of course Tiktaalik.

Thanks for sharing that book and figure set with it as well. I've seen that Arthropleura figure before, but had no idea where it originated from. I'll have to hunt for that at some point.

Of course it would also be nice to see Safari Ltd make an Arthropleura as well, if not other Carboniferous animals like Meganeura, the Tully Monster, and maybe even Hibbertopterus and Eogyrinus, and well probably whatever else from that period I had in that list I put together here: http://dinotoyblog.com/forum/index.php?topic=8419.msg247791#msg247791

Hehe, I like how you put it, "Number 1 priority".  Number 1 priority for me is Rhamphorhynchus!  Why is it that you'd prefer Therizinosaurus to Beipiaosaurus, Falcarius or an ornithomimosaur?

??? Making Corythosaurus and Hypacrosaurus for the same year would be the opposite of diversity since they're nearly identical.

Hard same. A Paleozoic Toob, or better yet, both a Carboniferous and a Permian Toob, is most needed. It would be the best way to round out my 1:40 scale collection, which is seriously depauperate of Paleozoic critters.

I personally would prefer more specific toob/tubes. That way both well known and obscure taxa can be included.
Safari has shown to gravitate towards specific toobs for extant organisms recently, like the dolphin and primate toob. Would be nice to see them do prehistorics again.

Pterosaur toob
Permian (synapsid) toob
Prehistoric amphibians toob
Ammonite/Ammonoid toob
Prehistoric fishes toob
Trilobite toob

etc

Faelrin

avatar_Flaffy @Flaffy Honestly that would be my preferred method too, instead of just a general one (in fact I did recommend to them a prehistoric amphibians/early tetrapods one, and a sea scorpion/eurypterid one over on instagram and some survey they had), but I suppose I'm just desperate for more non-dinosaur representation (especially from the Paleozoic, that they are sorely lacking in now, what with all of their previous Paleozoic animals, except the recent Dimetrodon are retired), that I'd probably be fine with a general one too.

I'm not normally interested in prehistoric mammals, but I'd like Safari to make Ambulocetus and Dorudon.  Those two would interest me!

Shonisaurus

As things are presented globally, it would be a miracle if Safari in 2021 performed a paraceratherium, it would hit me with the teeth if they did a paraceratherium and several dinosaurs next year.

Those would be spectacular, especially since Safari already makes the best modern cetaceans.

Yes, we need more prehistoric cetaceans! It's a travesty that it took so long for any company to make Basilosaurus, Safari really needs to get in the game!

I think a Safari Livyatan would be really neat, possibly alongside a remastered C. megalodon since their current one is around a decade old now if I remember correctly.

Shonisaurus

A zuul or a bajadasaurus within the dinosaurs.

A megaloceros, sivatherium, or synthetoceras among ungulate prehistoric mammals.

Dino_Soros

With the recent additions of Shuuvisaurus, Postusuchus, Prestosuchus, and Gorgosaurus, I'd love to see more Permian and Triassic Fauna. Especially some underrepresented yet well known non-mammalian therapsids.

Amphibians:

Platyhystrix

Eryops

A Trematosaurid

Diadectes

Synapsids:

Castorocauda

Cotylorhynchus

Edaphosaurus

Moschops

Estemmenosuchus

A species of Lystrosaurus

Lisowicia

Non-Dinosaur Reptiles:

Pareiasaur

Rutiodon

Desmatosuchus

Typothorax

Simosuchus

Armadillosuchus

Hyperodapedon

Dinosaurs:

Plateosaurus - The last figure they released was in a nearly kangaroo posture a long time ago.
