It's been leaked many times before, but here is the new CC S3 antagonist aka E750 (spoiler tagging this just in case anyone has been successfully managing to avoid seeing it and doesn't want to be spoiled on CC S3):

Spoiler

It's a little different from the one in the show, notably the lack of the fourth finger, and the missing head quills, if not the shape of the head as well, but I take it this was an earlier design, before it was finalized for the animation in the show (which has happened several times with this toy line through the years).

Anyways I will be adding this to the op. Giving folks a heads up to avoid the Dino Escape section, if you don't want to be spoiled.

Got a bunch of Amber Collection images today courtesy of Collect Jurassic. Not gonna post all of them because I'm tired. Folks can check out his instagram or twitter for more, or his website.

Dimorphodon 2 pack:

John Hammond (who appears to be very buff, lol):

Dr. Ellie Sattler:

No in box pic of the Dimorphodon pair yet, and no pics of the JPIII raptor just yet. No idea how that will turn out. To be honest I'm a little worried it will have the same head sculpt they've been using. I'm also curious if the Dimorphodon's will be like Attack Pack sized or slightly bigger. I think those will turn to be fantastic like the Pteranodon has been. They look pretty on point with their final appearance in the film (which the 2018 green Attack Pack figure came the closest too prior), color wise. Articulation looks pretty good for them too. A step up from the Attack Pack figures which already had pretty decent articulation for their size and price point.

By the way, other then being up for pre-order already on Entertainment Earth and Big Bad Toy Store, these are on Amazon for pre-order now (or perhaps have been) and have an eta for June 1st.

Lastly I also noticed that we are getting a V2 of the JP Velociraptor as well while checking out the one amazon store page. Not sure there is anything different other then the clear stand so far.

Edit: Not really related, but I saw on Target's website that the Legacy Collection Tyrannosaurus Escape pack has had pre-orders sold out already. That was quite fast. It only went up last week. I hope everyone in the US was able to get one ordered that wanted one.

Pachyrhinosaurus

I picked up the original Amber raptor and Malcolm when they came out and decided not to collect the Amber Collection. Between cost and space I lost interest. I'm definitely getting Hammond, though.

Also hoping Arnold gets a 3.75 figure, and the Amber dilophosaurus comes back in stock again.

Looks like they're upping the articulation on these things, which is nice. I gotta say though, I'm underwhelmed by both Ellie and the Dimorphodons, the latter of which just look very cartoony to me. I know Jurassic World's designs have always been a bit cartoony in general, but there's just something about the execution on these figures that makes them look basic, especially when it comes to that vein work on the wings  ::)

As far as Ellie goes, her face just looks so... I don't know... generic. Like without the outfit or the hair, I would not see Ellie in that figure.

Oh, and I missed the pre-order on that explorer set because I'm on dinosaur suspension until June. The Nedry set has become somewhat of a mainstay on shelves, but watch, now that this one was gone so quick it's gonna be the one that's impossible to find.

Faelrin

The Ouranosaurus like all the other Roar Attack figures has one of those unsightly buttons on it, but this time on the side. First the six digits on the hands, now this. A bit disappointing to say the least.

Since my herbivores are typically displayed on that side too I'm probably going to have to hide it behind some other figures.

Extra fingers and obnoxious buttons aside I still really love that Ouranosaurus, I really hope it hits the shelves around here.

Carnoking

Yeah it's certainly jarring, but I can look past it. If anything, I'll just be sure to display it facing away. I guess its the price we pay for these multi-tiered features. I also gotta keep reminding myself how bad Mattel's promo images make the final product look. Hopefully it won't be as glaring in person.

I think if you want a nice JW Dimorphodon the Papo one is still the best and scales nicely with the figures.

Ellie I'm thinking the flash is obscuring details of her face sculpt? When you look at the angle of the in box figure you can see her cheek bones and the face looks much more like Laura Dern.  Of course it's still a toy.   I think she should have have came with that prehistoric plant frond from the deleted scene/trailer.  ;)

I love the Hammond figure, I definitely want to display him with his happy laughing face.  That hatching egg though is an issue..if it doesn't look better in the final piece ( like a brain in an egg ) then I will need to tweak it.

Target was limiting it to one per person/address and it still sod out I'm sure it will be popular. Customizers will want several.

Huh, that's a step back in terms of engineering. What's going on Mattel? The Ouranosaurus figure does not to the show design justice at all.

terrorchicken

Ourano is okay, but I think  Ill pass...any pics of the Amber baby Rex/Compy set?

These hybrids just keep getting uglier.  :P

Gwangi

To be fair, this hybrid is intentionally ugly.

I kind of like the Dimorphodon pair, which is strange because I hate them in the movies and show. They're still ugly but they look fun, I like how that fourth finger is articulated.

terrorchicken

Im glad they left it for the tv show, which I cant watch anyway b/c I dont have Netflix.  :(

I really wish they'd stop this monster hybrid nonsense ...but I know they wont.

avatar_Reuben03 @Reuben03 yeah dude, I believe them dimorphodons are supposed to be ugly. But they look much cooler than the original dimorphodon sculpt. For some reason they remind me of the Uruk Kai(if that's what they are called) from that Lord of Rings movie

Also hate to disappoint, but I reached out to Collect Jurassic over on instagram, but it appears the JPIII raptor listed up on BBTS was a mistake. It really is supposed to be the re-release of the JP raptor (which I caught on Amazon up for pre-order pretty recently).

New article there has more pics of this JP raptor re-release, and many of the other ones coming soon: https://www.collectjurassic.com/052821-2/

Sound like the coloration is slightly different, other then the obvious clear base.

Anyways I think the Chialingosaurus has some really good sculpt detail, even if the coloration leaves something to be desired (just looks unfinished). Not too sure about the anatomy of this one however, beyond the typical style these figures exhibit. It appears to be a fragmentary genus. This is the only relevant skeletal I've seen so far, other then perhaps one other one. In fact I'm guessing the sculpt was inspired by it (if not other stegosaurs).

From here: http://www.paleofile.com/Dinosaurs/Armor/Chialingosaurus.asp

I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to stegosaur anatomy in general (I have a lot of studying to do), but with how fragmentary this genus is, perhaps this is a plausible take on it? Anyone have any other thoughts?

I'm really diggin the Chialingosaurus. I even like the paintjob, except I think it could have done without the brown portion.

suspsy

I also like that Mattel is branching out their stegosaurs. Now if only they would do the same with the sea monsters.
