avatar_GojiraGuy1954 @GojiraGuy1954 Yeah that could be about right, especially if NY Toy Fair isn't back to being a thing by next year. Would be a good time for it. I would have to look. I don't think it was held this year which was understandable. Assuming things work out I would guess stores would have stock by April, if not earlier in February, but this whole cargo ship situation definitely could delay things out further then intended.

This year's reveals also started in November, can't remember about years prior, but that could also be when reveals could happen. Just a few more months now, but not like I'm in a rush with how much I'd like to get caught up on soon.

avatar_suspsy @suspsy I'd like to see it as well, or at least hope it becomes a reality (ditto with the Kentrosaurus and Iguanodon, and any other Dominion species). Glad you were able to find a Tarbosaurus for a decent price this late on. Hopefully the Alioramus repaint coming later is readily available as well, assuming you have any interest in picking that one up for her as well.

Might get the Alioramus for my boys. Don't reckon they need the Lythronax to boot, but we shall see what it actually looks like.

I don't do much with JP/JW figures, but I discovered that the Dino Escape minis were at Walmart today! I even managed to get the three I wanted--the Irritator, Tarbosaurus and Siats--on my first try! And yes, I did record their package numbers on the bag--48P, 49P, 50P respectively (in Canada/probably US as well).

avatar_SBell @SBell Congrats on finding those. Glad to see those finally started getting out there. They look great and aside from Bumpy last year, the mini line has been long overdo for some new sculpts (which I expect will pick up next year with Dominion's release). Hoping those show up here. Gonna have to hunt those down. Thanks for sharing the codes as well.

Edit: Also is it just me, or since those have nearly the same paint apps as the original larger figures, those are the first mini figures to have multiple paint apps? Most that I'm aware of usually only had like one I think, with a few exceptions but nothing as substantial as these appear to be.

Also would you be okay with getting an image of the back of the checklist paper thing that came with those so I can add that information to the op, so we all can know what else is in this wave, other then those? I would be sure to credit you and link to the post.

Not a problem, I actually have a photo!

They are unusual in their paint detail--and there are some other unique ones there. I didn't realize that the Bumpy is the adult version so maybe I should have picked it up; that one, the Trike, Stego and Brach were easy to pick out in the packages without buying them (I should have written the numbers down). If I could have ID'd the Para I would have bought it as well but no luck there. As it was, I only got the three.

avatar_SBell @SBell Thanks for sharing. I'll add this to the op with the codes, and again provide a link back to your first post.

If I had to guess most of these are repacks from the 15 pack from last year. Adult Bumpy is certainly new though. The Pteranodon looks like it may be new too. Almost has a JPIII look to it from what I can tell. Or the 2019 BD figure, but I think the former may be more likely. I hope more images of this wave surfaces soon. I think I'll check youtube as well.

Edit: I did find a video already wow:

https://youtu.be/HtpjqG55XpA

The Brachiosaurus is also new it seems. And my haunch about the Pteranodon being new was correct too.

Edit 2: I also found a review (not in English) of the budget electronic Carnotaurus and Tyrannosaurus. Sharing it in case anyone else is interested.

Dan Surprise also did a video on the new minis but only the first 9 minutes seem relevant.

No problem.
I must have looked crazy, standing there frantically trying to find a video or list so that I got the ones I want. Never actually found any. It was all just me and my wife, feeling for ridges in the bags! It worked though.

I did note that the paint job on the stegosaurus is quite different...and yeah, it's the first mini brach from these series. I may need to pick it and Bumpy up.
And the Para but I didn't think I felt any

I never had any interest in the Jurassic World minis but these must have slipped past my radar, they look fantastic. Thanks for sharing avatar_SBell @SBell.

Happy to help--that was pretty much all the JW stuff Walmart had, so it was a good find for me!

Faelrin

Well adding bullet lists in the spoiler tag ended up breaking the op, so now I'm trying to get everything fixed up. Apologies for anyone trying to check it.

Edit: All fixed up now. Also while at it, I manged to track down a few more codes from those two videos I posted earlier by pausing and slowing the video down as needed (but not every code was visible), as well as another video by A @Andysdinosaurreviews that showed a code for the Tyrannosaurus, as well as the ones avatar_SBell @SBell posted earlier. So I'll be adding more codes as I find them to that list.

I would be surprised if my Walmart even had that much. They've had shelf space set aside for JW merch but haven't stocked it yet, been a couple months now. The shelves sit empty.

Mattyonyx

I think the Siats somehow looks better than the bigger version.

hoping for a mini plesiosaurus with the same neck joints so i can make the neck straight ngl

Here's hoping it's not going to be as freaking scarce as that damn Scutosaurus. Which had better get a repaint next year.

I'm very excited to see this coming to the line, though I'm wondering if this will even show up this year and not next year. I'll add it to the op tomorrow morning anyways.

I too worry about the inevitable distribution problems however. After early 2020, distribution for the smaller figures took a nose dive, particularly in the US and my regional stores. I can probably guess why but can't say I like it as a collector. I have a feeling I'm going to have to resort to my friend in Germany once again to get many of these assuming he gets them. Will have to wait and see, and I totally agree about a re-release of the rare Scutosaurus (and Postosuchus) are needed.

Also @ everyone joking about this looking like Zuul, but then there's the ankylosaurid that was named that, and behind on getting a figure made of it still.

Despite Mattel's excellent track record for producing obscure animals I never thought we would see a Shringasaurus. Bravo Mattel! This gets me more excited for the future of this line.
