avatar_Giganotosaurus @Giganotosaurus I think it has the right number of digits, just more or less the wrong shape. Like the fourth and fifth digits on the forelimbs should be reduced and clawless (same for modern crocodilians). The claws are also kind of excessively large on the Pentaceratops for some reason. Not really expecting accuracy with a line like this when the film's ceratopsians have elephant like feet, etc, but I get that it would be nice for once.

Off hand I think the Postosuchus (has four but should have five) and Dimetrodon (has three but should have five) have the incorrect number of digits, other then the two you mentioned. Edmontosaurus had four on the feet but should have three. Herrerasaurus is another big offender in this regard. Has three digits on the feet but should have five, and the hands are incorrect as well. It had five digits on the hands but the fourth and fifth were reduced, clawless, and probably not visible on the living animal, so the fourth finger largely looks out of place.

Honestly I think this issue is the weakest aspect of many of the figures, other then the occasional goofy heads like on the Rhamphorhynchus, and the new Tanystropheus (not gonna lie they almost look to share the same head sculpt), and Shringasaurus (which I think also is incorrectly digitigrade instead of plantigrade), other then some proportional issues occasionally (like the Herrerasaurus). I just wish whoever was sculpting these just did a little more research into the numbers of digits at least (and the shapes of the skulls). Things like what happened to the Ouranosaurus having six digits on the hands might not have (not saying polydactylism is bad, but I don't think that was what they were going for either), etc.

Again, I don't think the Tanystropheus is bad at all—for a Mattel product. I'm probably going to get it either for my boys or my niece. Same with the Shringasaurus.

New Mattel Metriacanthosaurus. Possibly a new, but at least altered, sculpt. Image quality is too low to tell
Shrek 4 is an underrated masterpiece

For a basic figure, that para actually looks nice.
Have to say though, weird disproportioned tail aside, I still don't get why they needed to re-design the JW para's hind feet when the "Lost World" figure got it right.  It makes it seem they designed only a single pair of hind legs for all the non-raptor bipeds to cut costs (for the JW line).

Walmart Canada now has the Carcharodontosaurus and Stegosaurus on their website. Same price as the Massive Biters Albertosaurus: $34.97.

Okay, so this isn't technically a new for 2021 product, but I was at one of my local Targets today and the Legacy Collection Brachiosaurus was on clearance.

Another Target, however, didn't appear to have the clearance price, so it probably differs from store to store. Maybe they're getting ready to make the switch to the Apatosaurus?

Sincerely doubt that
Shrek 4 is an underrated masterpiece

Faelrin

Considering the lack of marine reptiles in this line in 4 years time I'm doubting they'll make one as well. However they did make some animals from the first game into figures (as well as Telltale's Herrerasaurus and Troodon game designs), so never say never I guess?
