Mattel has released many colossal sauropods by now, but the most common one is, of course, Brachiosaurus. Their latest one is for the Jurassic World Reimagined series.
This one is based on the version from Jurassic Park 3, and is easily the most colourful yet. And just as massive as the previous Brachiosaurus toys, 99 cm from one end to the other.

this is the first time any holder of the Jurassic licence has ever even attempted this color scheme on a brachiosaurus. finally the miniscule hasbro one that looks nothing like this can be replaced
The Hasbro one has the color scheme of the old Carnegie Brachiosaurus. Which does appear in the movie when Charlie Degler plays with one. So whoever designed that clearly looked at the wrong Brachiosaurus appearing in the movie. But hey, that it is Hasbro for you.
Sure this is the correct term? The box pictures so far only say Legacy Collection, not Reimagined.

Just the legacy collection model with a repaint
I think this a mistake on part of the blog. The packaging pictures shown so far only say Legacy Collection.
Can’t really speak by Lukas, but I don’t think the complaint was about a labeling. It was about the figure being just a repaint of the Legacy sculpt, which doesn’t fit at all with the JP3 Brachiosaurus body. The CGI model was quite different from the Brachio from JP1. Just look at the picture on the box. JP1 Brachio was a 1980’s Mark Hallet inspired one; JP3 Brachio was a 2000’s “straight tail/column/neck” Brachio with no hump.
So, another epic fail, Mattel.
