Wow the Lambeosaurus just edged out over the Deinonychus, after the two have been tied for a while now. Still very close.

Seriously though can I say how impressed I am that a hadrosaurid and feathered dromaeosaurid are contending for first place in one of the polls here. This has to be a first right?

Edit: Seriously, how far we've come in the past decade.

Edit 2: Deinonychus took the lead now it seems.

avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres, I've voted!

I'm surprised by the lack of votes for the I-Toy Paraceratherium.

I'm surprised by the lack of votes for the I-Toy Paraceratherium.
Same, but it's by quite an unknown company, a kind of rare figure since it doesn't have widespread distribution yet, and it's quite pricey.

Perhaps it should get another chance in 2021 since companies like Everything Dinosaur are still in the process of getting it sold.

(it's absolutely lovely, beautiful and brilliant though! <3)

Thank you both! Any more last minute votes? The number one spot is still within 1!

I would agree that limited presence amongst the collections of our members is probably the reason.  I certainly took on board how people were thrilled with it.  But I don't have one personally and don't intend to buy one (not my collecting area and too large to buy as an "outlier"), so I didn't vote for it.

72 votes is a good showing, well done, everyone! I'll lock the voting this afternoon and relay the results to avatar_DinoToyForum @dinotoyforum so that he can make a video when he has a chance. I'll unlock voting once the video is posted.

Sounds good to me! It's been ages since I did a video for the Dinotoyblog Youtube channel because I've been busy with other things, but the top 10 vids are relatively easy to produce.

Man, PNSO dominated this year. Can't say I'm surprised.

Many thanks to B @Bokisaurus avatar_Callophrys @Callophrys avatar_ceratopsian @ceratopsian avatar_Patrx @Patrx and @postsaurischian for photos!

I wonder if that would have still been true if their releases hadn't been concentrated at the end of the year, making them more top-of-mind than they might otherwise have been.

Absolutely, but I never thought they would make up more than half the list. I love PNSO but I am glad Doug's Deinonychus was number 1, as well as the Edmontosaurus making it up the list, too.

My pleasure, of course! Went more smoothly than the 2016 iteration.

I've unlocked voting again, sometimes there are interesting shifts as older figures lose luster. Check back in three years and see if the rankings are the same!

PrimevalRaptor

Very deserved No.1 spot for the Deinonychus, this guy may just be my favorite model in recent years. Such an amazing up-to-date dromaeosaur!

Bokisaurus

Awesome video and what a tough competition with so many amazing figures last year!
😃

Concavenator

As some of you have already expressed, I'm glad that Doug's amazing Deinonychus won again (it also won in the PT magazine). Totally deserved it. We have been in desperate need for a good model of this dinosaur for ages, and thankfully it is now a reality.

It was a great year, for certain, and this caps it off nicely!

I have a potentially dumb question. After the video played, a Youtube ad for the 2017 poll popped up, which we've all seen, I suppose. But what about the 2018 and 2019 years' polls, have these been made into videos at some point?

Halichoeres

#79
I don't believe there was a poll for 2019. The header at the top of the forum still has the 2018 poll.

Edit: I was mistaken, as Faelrin points out below!
