I have already 2 of this Spinosaurus in different paint job. Is Safari considered the king of repaints and re-issues in the dinosaur toy industry? I know Hasbro is the King of repaints and re-issues so far.

Well, the toobs have some variants. Which is nice given that some share molds. Does the other Spinosaurus look like that:

Not 'might'. It is definitely one, although recently Safari has taken to re-releasing them as 'babies' in the main line, or in the eggs. Same figure though.

Actually the babies are their own molds. There are indeed two baby molds. The ones from the WS line, and the ones from the Dino Baby Toob.  The ones in the eggs use the molds from the Baby Toob

I'm afraid those things'll harm me

I think Kaiyodo is >:D Although arguably their models are not toys.

stargatedalek

I'd say safari has more repaints, not by much if you don't count the toobs

CityRaptor

Depends on. Do we count figures that came in two color schemes to begin with, like Dinotales Series 7 or the Retro Classic Figures? If yes, Kaiyodo beats Safari.
But Hasbro should have the most Dinosaur repaints.

Come to think of it, maybe Hasbro has the most dinosaur repaints.  I already have 4 repaints of the small T. rex.

you are probably right
I have 6 versions of that JP3 rex hatchling
only 2 of which I would have bought if they hadn't come with another figure (and one of the 2 was second hand)

Which one? The Safari one? I have several of it due to it being in several toobs I own. Sue & her friends, Dinos Toob, Dino Mega Toob...

The rubbery yellow one. What's a "toob"?
It's a word Safari uses. It is, as the name suggests, a plastic tube containing several small figures.

Here is an example:

Oh, I've seen those before, back at Meijer before it closed down, it might have been from one of them, I found it at a garage sale in a bag of lots of creatures.

Ok, I wasn't sure.
I may not like feathered dinosaurs and stumpy legged Spinosaurs, but I will keep those opinions to myself, I will not start a debate over it, I promise. 😇

Here are what I got recently:

Sega Dino King Figures (I'm lacking 1 figure, does anyone know what it is? TIA!)

TFL! :)

Doc, there's 12 in that set. It looks like you're missing the Acro. They're actually quite rare so well done on that one.  ;)

This figure has been loved and hated on the pages of this forum.
Mine's actually not too shiny or poorly painted imho. Turning yer tail like this will prolly hurt though...
The fearsome paws belong to my Canis lupus familiaris.

Actually,I don't find any strong reasons to hate that Dilophosaurus. My only complaints about it are just the hand tripod and improvable paintjob, but is this figure seriously hate-able?
I guess,there's always Bullyland's Dilophosaurus...haha  ::)
