This PNSO mini set is one of the best things they've released. They're actually very good at tiny figures, the Microraptor here and the Archaeopteryx from the previous batch are pretty nice.

those PNSO figures are so beautiful...

just got a handful recently (all of them are for trade btw)

Do you have a trade thread? I could imagine you having some interesting things to offer.

A big box arrived this morning from Beijing, thanks to our own acro-man.  Here's some snaps of the contents:

First of all, the PNSO set of Seven Little Dinosaurs, along with a beautifully produced booklet on the China Post Stamps.

The "secret compartment" inside of the lid contains a beautiful reproduction of one of Zhao Chuang's paintings of the contents.  It's neatly held down by magnets so it doesn't flap about.

The minis were accompanied on their journey by the Mamenchisaurus, also created by PNSO for the China National Philatelic Association.  I couldn't resist adding the mini Mamenchi to the diorama.

And finally a group shot of the Mamenchi, the Minis and the Himalayasaurus from the older series of minis.

I have already commissioned those beauties to Acro-man and are an improvement over the PNSO mini.

I hope to see you soon.

Does the Mamenchisaurus come with the baby?

Does the Mamenchisaurus come with the baby?

There are three different PNSO Mamenchisaurus plastic figures:

This one is the baby that comes with the six little dinosaurs set.

The small one pictured above is from the China Post "seven little dinosaurs" set.

The large one is sold separately.

Thanks Halichoeres!  Yes, sold separately and it just happened that I bought them at the same time.  The mini-model by chance fits neatly onto the very edge of large model's base but it wasn't intended to.

Received this lovely little Pliosaur yesterday. I really like it, despite the lack of details on the head.

I got a "huge" haul today at a Micheal's near my brother's house. I think I spent nearly $60 on stuff. In any case I bought my first Safari figures today. While I love action figures, like with my previous Battat Terra figure purchases, I have to say I really do enjoy models as well after all, and not just looking at them online. I got two Toobs (the Prehistoric Sharks and Cambrian Life Toobs). I've been desiring the Camrbian Life Toob since last year. The excitement when I finally got to open it up and hold them in my hand after all this time was child-like no doubt (and my little Yowie Anomalocaris can have a "friend" at last). I really dig the sharks one too, since it means I finally have a Hybodus and Stethacanthus in my collection (and all the other ones included too).

I also picked up the Woolly Mammoth and Smilodon, to keep the upcoming Mastodon company later on. Lastly I bought the Apatosaurus, the only dinosaur I've brought home today. Don't know if it's in the same scale as my Battat Terra Tyrannosaurus and Parasaurolophus, but it does look nice alongside them. I can't wait to get more next month (online however), after I save some more money up. Of course there went my plans for the Deinocheirus and such this month, but a few more extra weeks won't hurt. At least I was able to knock a few things off my wishlist, and was able to approve of them in person before purchasing.

I'll post a pic of everything tomorrow when there's daylight out.

Edit: I got a pic of them (alongside the Battat Terra Tyrannosaurus and Parasaurolophus, the Yowie Anomalocaris, the JW Chomping T. rex, and a Schleich Wolf).

Those are some really exciting toobs. The Yowies and Safari Anoms go surprisingly well together.

I bought the exact same figure yesterday. I have all the others away for painting. Can't wait to put them out for display.

I like the theme will you be looking to paint it, but I might elect to copy the stock photo.

Yep they are pretty neat. Now if only I could track down the Yowie Wiwaxiid to go with it (and the CollectA tube from this year, and the favorite Cambrian figures from last year), it would make for a pretty neat collection of prehistoric invertebrates and such. Although I'm sure it'll be a while before I get any of those, if I do, since I need to save up again for some other things on my wishlist first.

Recently got this haul from a thrift store.

4x Papos, they have their markings but the colours looked a bit off.

Notable mentions, 2 Carnegie safari's, a Tyco Smithsonia Monoclonius and a JP headbutter.

The lesser dinos, some Funrise, Schleichs, Chinasaurus and KMs.

These are the non dinos that came with the haul, Taurus from GiJoe, Ice Ranger from American Force,  Snake Eye from Maschinen Krieger and some Bakugan and Tigra mini.

Not too bad for 25 dollars CAD.

I see nothing wrong with the 4 Papo dinos. The colours look fine to me.
Only thing I do notice is that they all seem to be a little surprised having their picture taken.   :o  :o  :o  :o
LOL
Nice catch.

I have the Favorite Wiwaxia for sale (see the eBay thread) along with the Olenoides. They are a couple of top-notch Cambrian figures.

I'd like to buy those (if I'm being honest I really wanted those last year), but I'm in the middle of saving up for something else right now, that's non dinosaur related, which might well take me into the first week of October (my only spending money right now is coming from donating plasma, which is minimal). Thanks for the offer though.
