Great looking Giga! I wish I can get it in the future.

are the Mlodoch figures made of resin?

that Leedsichthys is awesome btw.

I believe it's a hollow cast resin, yes. The smaller figures are (were) usually solid.

Shonisaurus

Giganotosaurus de Vitae is great. But I mention it for those who like me do not want to spend a lot in an eBay store to give an example seems to be that shop.modellpferdeversand has programmed to market dinosaurs or Vitae figures you can see it on its home page whose link it happened next, no I know the figures but he says "Vitae Figuren" which makes me think that they can sell in the near future said giganotosaurus:

http://shop.modellpferdeversand.de/

It can be a news fake but I sincerely prefer to wait for the time that it is if said company or other online ones commercialize it at more affordable prices. I do not want to empty my bank account in commercial stores like eBay or monsterhouse to give two examples.

Surely modellpferdeversand will sell said figure at less expensive prices.

Joey

Nice model! I'd say the stock photos didn't lie. Looks the same as the stock images.  :)

Halichoeres

That Vitae Giga is enormous!

So is that Leedsichthys! I hope Mr. Mlodoch does start taking orders again, I'd love to get one of these (and the Xiphactinus if the mold still works).

Ooh I hope you're right :)) I dearly want this model, but balk at the ridiculous shipping costs :'( Maybe even the limited edition will find a European retailer, though this is maybe a hope too far!

Last News! shop.modellferdevesand will market them I'll pass the question I asked and the message they left in my email in German and its translation into English seem to bring the two versions of giganotosaurus Vitate.

Question from Shonisaurus forum member via email

Goodnight:

I just found out on their website that they are going to market Vitae figuren. Does that mean they will sell the giganotosaurus Vitae limited edition? Wishing you Happy Holidays, and a Happy New Year, receive,

Sincerely

Answer of the original company in German:

Grüß Gott,

da Weihnachten ist, haben wir keine Zeit die Email zu übersetezn. Soweit wir verstehen: wir veruchen, beiden Versionen zu bekommen; derzeit arbeiten wir am versand.

MfG www.modellpferdeversand.de

Translated to English:

Regards,

Since Christmas is, we do not have time to übersetezn the email. From what we understand: we try to obtain both versions; We are currently working on the shipment.

I have given the forum good news, for all of us who live in Europe, another Asian company that is going to be sold by a foreign company. You do not need to buy it on eBay or Amazon for such exorbitant prices and without the hassles of being held by the customs of each nation indefinitely.

Hope in these cases is the last thing that is lost.  ;)

That sounds very promising! Thank you for contacting them, and thank you for sharing this information Shonisaurus ^-^

Flaffy

Looks very nice!
Though I still prefer Safari Ltd's take on Giga's crests.
I might pick it up in the future, but the main thing that bothers me about this figure is the awkward pose.
A promising line, hope Mr. Cheung will release his Sinoceratops soon.

Well, it took almost 5 years, but Malcolm came through!

:o WOW! One of us FINALLY got one of this giant, beautiful, exquisite figure! It's like a proof that Big Foot is real! Amazing, love the new colors.
I'm hoping that, I, too will get mine as this is the one figure I wanted the most! Congrats ^-^

And a few more from recent weeks. Due to financial circumstances taking an abrupt change I'll need to hold off on any more big purchases for a while, but I'm quite pleased with what I have.

Marx mold Kronosauruses, common regular green which I now have doubles of and this interesting lime green one I've never seen before.

A selection of cheap plesiosaurs

"Nessie". Unknown company.

A selection of squishy aquatics from Playful Home. These are quite large.

CollectA Hydrotherosaurus knockoff. Significantly bigger than the original (pictured), but surprisingly good copy on even the smallest details.

Though they did give it an open mouth.

Tylosaurus resin. Quite large (over 2 ft. long nose to tail) but arrived broken. Pack tightly everybody!

Random collection of figures from Kaiyodo, Jasman, and Yowies.

Some screamers.

Wheatos Lambeosaurus mold. Small figure, but I rather like the pose.

CollectA Agustinia. The story behind this reconstruction cracks me up.

Yet another color of the Danone Bactrosaurus.

A very special acquisition - some rare Brumms metal flats from Germany, circa 1950's. Diatryma, Phorusrhacos, and prehistoric plant Calamitana.

And another rarity, the Ovomaltine Allosaurus. Ovomaltines/Yoplait figures are so rare most collectors are unaware of their existence, but when they do show up they often go for a pretty penny. This one was more than twice as expensive as any other figure here, and it's only about 2 inches long.

And as a bonus... This is what happens when you're an adult and get to make your own home décor decisions:

Why, is it because the spikes are actually supposed  to be ribs?

BlueKrono

Yes, such a novice mistake. I'd say that's even worse than putting the head of the plesiosaur on the tail, and that was in the mid 1800's!

I was...persistent. Contact through Facebook was the best way--and he did say that other Leedsichthys orders would be filled soon (I think they are made, but shipping is a lot--and since I was second in line, I had to get mine first. Fortunately, I have a ship location in the US 1 hour away, so it was easier for him to send it!). He's a friend of mine on FB, as are you, so you can likely find him that way!

Too funny! I saw this guy listed and almost went for it. I've been thinking about getting the kit, and thought I might save myself the trouble of having to build him up.... guess I'm glad I decided to hold off  :P

Sorry about the model, but its still a really cool Tylosaurus!

Yes, it's 1/40, and as huge as you'd expect! Notice the little Lego Friend mini!

Also, Safari arrived for my store today...so great to see the first batch! Most of which I have added to my collection!

A Cenozoic (or Cainozoic if you're weird) geology fan should get why this sequence is so fantastic!

Dinos on a dinosaur leg...and close up!

It's a big Triceratops!

And...the fish. Elasmobranchs mostly!

Incredible haul!

Just received some fun new projects to work on after the holidays:

From Khurasan Miniatures: http://bit.ly/2zg63cw
I went a bit overboard on minis. I have several more coming over from DeeZee, can't wait.

Lanthanotus

Nice hauls everyone... I spot a lot of things I'd love to add aswell. Well, I just ordered several new Safaris and am waiting eagerly (but hey, they will drop in much earlier than last season :D)

Glad to help! I even have some of each left!

And the rest of the Safari offerings are on order...hope to have them early in the new year (maybe just before; we'll see how it goes).

So, what's you first impressions? I'm just thrilled to have big, beefy mammals! But the big new dinos are pretty cool too!
