Great new additions everyone ;)
Well, for me, it's been an exciting arrival, one that I have  been waiting forever to be made and finally got one!
It's the beautiful Sivatherium giganteum by Joan Milelire Soler!
You can check out more photos of him in my collection thread ;) Cheers and happy dino hunting!

I know they're not too popular here, but just getting back into my collection, and celebrating my birthday, I had to splurge a bit.
My newbies over the past month!

Nice collection! And belated congratulations :-) I think that Schleich 'Conquering the Earth T. rex' is rather nice (quite nice head sculpt); still some (big) issues, like with relative sizes of torso, neck and forearms, but I think Schleich are slowly getting better at it. Just wish they would learn faster. But I have to admit that my interest for this figure may be inspired by my love for T. rex reconstructions from the 1970's, when I was a child and I came into contact with Tyrannosaurus the first time. One of my favorite Tyrannosaurus models is (weirdly?) the one from the Invicta line.

mgaguilar

@Johannes Thank you very much! I know right? Mattel managed to create some beautiful sculpts based on the movie media, why can't the toy giant Schleich look at the most recent evidence???
That's amazing, recreations since then have changed so much. It would be amazing to see a compendium of one of the most covered dinosaurs in the field. Besides the Carnegie series.

Halichoeres

This comes close, although nobody has yet gone to the trouble of adding JP figures (unless you count Papo/Rebor): http://toyanimal.info//index.php?title=Tyrannosaurus

Regarding the theme of tyrannosaurus rex the star figure of the dinosaurs both toy and collection (resin) I wonder how many versions of that figure have been made in the form of a toy or figure throughout history. I think it would be impossible to calculate how many rex tyrannosaurs have occurred.

Tyrannosaurus is the most famous figure among all prehistoric animals by far.

How stuck-to-the-base is that Lythronax? Is it part of the mold or do you think it could be cut / pulled off? Also, nice haul!

As someone who owns the Lythronax, it looks like you could quite easily remove the base by cutting it off.

Just got my hands on these beauties! I didn't think I'd see them in the UK, I thought I'd have to deal with pesky scalpers or import some toys overseas, but nope, they're right here! Even the Legacy Collection!

Faelrin

@IrritatorRaji Congrats on that haul there. I got a good haul as well today (pic in the JW thread).

Anyone know when these may be available in Australia - no sign of them as yet around the majors in my area. Only after a few of them anyhow - that Baryonyx is a must have.

Shonisaurus

From what I've seen in a Jurassic World video "The Fallen Kingdom" in that movie is included among other dinosaurs the stygimoloch. I am not a follower of the figures of J P toy, so I do not know if it is included in this year's dinosaurs in toy version articulated by this franchise.

On the other hand I congratulate IrritatorRaji for the recent acquisitions. these figures of J P. are well achieved

paintingdinos

Big birthday surprise for me... I really loved all of the card art for the new MTG set, but I don't collect cards and don't play Magic, so I didn't feel confident about tracking them down.

But my very, very, very sweet SO gave me these today:

Lovingly curated to include every card that featured card art of a dinosaur (its a LOT of cards!!). I have no idea how I'll display them, but I love them!!

ITdactyl

that is a nice present @paintingdinos.  I had given up on collecting the dinosaurs set (since I barely have time to play MTG) and gave my meager collection to a nephew.  But it actually felt nice seeing someone actually completed it.

Not to trigger your inner completist... but there's this one allosaurus by Jonathan Kuo in the new Dominaria set that should fit in nicely in your collection...  ;) ;D

I'm happy for you it's very beautiful. A member of the forum sold me his ouranosaurus and I can assure you that it is a great paleoartistic work, apart from toy.  :)
