Jurassic World (Hasbro) - new for 2015

The only thing I'm even remotely interested in toy-wise is the Kaiyodo set, and from the trailers the movie's looking downright silly.
Also, does anyone know what all the mini figures are?

Why's Kaiyodo making a sad rip-off line? Couldn't they get the licence?

Probably. But the set is pretty much designed as a cash in on JW, with that specific selection of species. Just, you know, more accurate.

Didn't Kaiyodo make an official line for JP3? They were sold with coke or something?

Coke is going to have a JW tie-in so maybe they will do an official line as well ?

Yes, they did make an official JPIII line sold with coke. They also did a similar one for King Kong.

But given that they made an unofficial line, it seems that they did not get a license this time.

Sadly not. So far the video is the only time where they are shown outside their bags, everyone else always shows them in bag.

What about the action figures - just how much of a completest are you? I'm really in two minds about the mosasaur myself.

Hm, there are two identical Tyrannosaurs and two identical Pteranodons. That means that either one is not guaranteed to get all 15 in that bag or there are actually less than 15 to collect. The Ankylosaurus seems to have a different color than the one in the video, too.

Blind Bags so far have worked out for Hasbro. Transformers, Kre-O, My little Pony...so it is to be expected.
