Ever notice Regaliceratops looks weirdly like Charles Knight's Agathaumas painting?

Huh. Might not be a coincidence, since Knight's painting was based on a real skull ("Monoclonius sphenoceras") which I can't find pictures of and I'm not sure if it was ever given a thorough description. Maybe a relative or synonym of Regaliceratops...?

EDIT: Nevermind, looks like M. sphenoceras skull is just the snout and nose horns, not eye horns. Knight must have based those on some other specimen. http://www.paleofile.com/Dinosaurs/Ornithopods/Monoclonius.asp

Knight is generally thought to have simply made up the rest of the skull wholesale, making it even more odd that it should just so happen to resemble another, real ceratopsian discovered a century later.

I am currently looking for dinosaurs found in the Netherlands. Betasuchus, Orthomerus, Nothosaurus and Telmatosaurus along my earlier want list. Hope to Find more dinosaurs they found here.

I thought Telmatosaurus was only Transylvanian.

I don´t have ANY of the 2015 models and Im already excited to know which dinosaurs will be
I sometimes wish that companies did not reveal their future figures so soon

Shonisaurus

I would like to Safari that the new figures were Spinosaurus and paleoartísticas Deinocheirus in their new reinterpretations, due to recent paleontological discoveries.

Time for some absolutely baseless guessing here:
I predict at random (or more wishful thinking on my part) that the six new models for the Wild Safari Prehistoric World line will be
Styracosaurus albertensis
Shunosaurus lii
Daspletosaurus torosus
Edmontonia rugosidens
Archelon ischyros
Pteranodon longiceps

It won't be long until we find out what they will really turn out to be now. :)
Don't you hate it when you legitimately compliment someone's mustache and she gets angry with you?

Titanoboa and Megalania? Wouldn't a toy anaconda and Komodo dragon suffice?

Well They made a Megalodon, and thats a big Great white shark reletive.

I dont think kids would give a Crap if its called a Komodo, or megalania.   They might want a large Lizard for there fantasy adventures, and a MEgalania could fit that demographic, only its based on a real giant lizard

suspsy

I'd love a Titanoboa if it were sculpted in the act of constricting or swallowing a crocodile. But I suspect such a concept is more CollectA's territory than Wild Safari.

Yes, they did make a Megalodon. And we all hated it because it looked like a white shark. That's what I'm saying. There is no need for a Megalania or Titanoboa when you can use a model of an animal that looks essentially the same.

Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

suspsy

Let's be fair. The WS C. megalodon, is NOT physically identical to a great white, although it takes an enthusiast to tell the difference. An alternative colour scheme, say dark blue or brown with spots, would have gone a long way.

Similarly, it wouldn't be all that difficult to create a distinctive Titanoboa. I don't believe it has to be a "waste."

I am just honestly excited to see the new models no matter what they are...when I look at last years products . I have mentioned it before but you can take the Nasutoceratops and Sauropelta and put them along with the original Battats or Favorites and they blend right in. Doug just keeps raising the bar for dinosaur models and it is my hope we get something equally as breathtaking. I sent a copy of the Nasuto and the Sauropelta to Martin for a repaint and they commented the sculpts were awesome as well. I am just excited to see what comes....regardless
