Rebor Deinonychus Trio "Cerberus Clan" ("Shoot", "Tooth", "Thrill") and 2/3 Prey Tenontosaurus
The 2/3 prey Tenontosaurus will be sold separately from the Deinonychus Trio. Deinonychus Trio will:
a) Be sold in one set.
b) Each raptor will have its own color scheme.
c) Have a bendable neck and tail and possibly legs.
d) Have an articulated lower jaw.
e) Have poseable/articulated arms/wings like the Utahraptor "Wind Hunter".

This product will tie in with the Acrocanthosaurus "Hercules" across three acts:
Act One: The Hero (Hercules the Acrocanthosaurus)
Act Two: The Reward (2/3 Ceryneian Hind the Tenontosaurus)
Act Three: The Challenge (Deinonychus Trio "Cerberus Clan", "Shoot", "Tooth", "Thrill")

Scale: 1/35
Tease Date: Deinonychus Trio: 04/22/16
Black and White Image Release Date: 2/3 Prey Tenontosaurus:11/05/15, Deinonychus Trio: 06/27/16
Official Color Images Released on: 2/3 Prey Tenontosaurus: 03/30/16, Deinonychus Trio: 12/09/16
Estimated Date Product Available for Purchase: 2/3 Prey Tenontosaurus: April, 2016, Deinonychus Trio: January, 2017

Comes with a Base: Yes, both the Deinonychus Trio and the prey Tenontosaurus will each come with a base that can be placed together to form a large diorama. The base of the prey is very large and Rebor decided to cut it into four pieces. When combined, this base connects up with the bases of the Deinonychus Trio and with the Arcocanthosaurus base.
Accessories/Extras: 2/3 Prey Tenontosaurus will be sold separately from the Deinonychus Trio.

This thread is for specific discussion on Rebor's Deinonychus Trio "Cerberus Clan". Below are Rebor's statements on this product and product images from their FaceBook page and from this forum.

Quotes:

02/03/15:
QuoteEven better, brutal and gore since realistic body parts of Tenontosaurus will be included, yes we mean super REALISTIC body parts ;)

06/10/15:
QuoteSpoilers alert! Hercules the Acrocanthosaurus is also related to future products, we won't say what they are, but the nick name will be "Ceryneian Hind" and "Cerberus", and yes they are all dinosaurs, and their bases can be combined together to form a large diorama, same concept as REBOR T-rex vs Triceratops diorama

06/19/15:
QuoteThe purpose of packaging is to protect polystone bases, which are parts of the products, without the packaging they will just break during the transportation, plus diorama bases play a big part in REBOR collectibles, they all related to future products, King T-rex vs King Triceratops, Savage vs Ravage, Hercules vs The Cerberus clan, all planned out rom the very beginning. Also from the feedback now we can tell the price is not harming us at all, we have distributed LOTS of products globally and have already set up our prestige in the field.

All I can really say is I hope his works are better" feathered" in the museums of London than they are on the pages of your Facebook posts lol.

Oh Gosh even autocorrection prefers that word... anyway the good news is, 1:35 scientific accurate Deinonychus will be released in future, Utahraptor was a successful experiment, now with better public acceptance of feathered dinosaurs we are ready to move on to the next stage: introducing fully feathered Dromaeosaurus to the public.

07/24/15:
QuoteOne of our fans asked " I am confused though, I don't see pupils? Are they just small?"

The hunt took place at midnight, therefore we've chosen night vision effect for his eyes. REBOR creations are not any dinosaur, each beast has it's own identity and background story, they are characters :)
BTW Hercules is just the first part of a large diorama, the prey in his mouth is 1/3 of a Tenontosaurus, what took the rest of the body? You will find out later ;)

11/05/15:
QuoteNow you all have seen the official photos of Rudy the hatchling T-rex, time for another teaser!

Act One: The Hero (Hercules the Acrocanthosaurus); Act Two: The Reward (2/3 Ceryneian Hind the Tenontosaurus); Act Three: The Challenge (???)

03/28/16:
QuoteFB User: Oh dear another must have, when available?
Rebor: April, about same price as The Fallen Queen smile emoticon :)

03/30/16:
QuoteAct Two: The Reward, REBOR 1:35 Tenontosaurus tilletti corpse replica 2/3 Ceryneian Hind, nothing much, just some DISTURBINGLY realistic paint jobs, a HUGE polystone base (so huge that we actually have to cut it into 4 smaller pieces), tons of posing options and hours of fun! :)
QuoteFB User: So it means it will be still a 3/3 piece?
Rebor: That would be the 1/3 corpse from the Hercules Deluxe Pack

FB User: Looks fantastic! Not to be greedy but should we expect an act 3?
Rebor: You mean Act Three: The Challenge "The Cerberus Clan"? ;)

04/22/16:
QuoteGuess we need to finish at least one of our three-act dioramas this year!

Referring to the names of the Deinonychus Trio:
QuoteShoot, Tooth, Thrill ;)

06/25/16:
QuoteFB User: 3 figure in 1 diorama, how cool is that. My question is :
1. When the cerberus clan will be released ?
2. Are they sold in 1 set (consist of 3 pcs) or separately ?
3. How about their pose/gesture ? All different pose or all of them have the same pose ?
Rebor: Sold in 1 set, the names are Shoot, Tooth, Thrill (for now, pun intended), each will have its own colour scheme, bendable neck&tail(or even legs if we can get it right), articulated lower jaw and poseable arms like Wind Hunter, so yeah...prefect ;)

09/13/16:
QuoteREBOR 1:35 Deinonychus Trio "Cerberus Clan" poseability test, bendable neck&tail and articulated jaw&wings!

09/29/16:
QuoteFB User: When do you think to release them?
Rebor: November :)

09/30/16:
QuoteSizewise-although it's a 1:35 scale Deinonychus however you can still pretend it's a 1:18 scale scientifically accurate Velociraptor, display it next to Winston and teach your little brother what dinosaurs really looked like!

10/01/16:
QuoteFB User: I hate to be "that guy", but I'm still concerned that these won't be as durable or last as long since they seem to be rubbery with bendy wire, and in my experience, bendy wire toys tend to break easily.
Rebor: We've tested them:) plus Mcfarlane's Alien figures also got bendy tails and still work perfectly after 13 long years

12/09/16:
QuoteFB User: Cerberus clan are girls or boys?
Rebor: All three are bad boys :)

The one thing that is not clear at this point to me is that if the items that make up Act 2 (the base shown in the photo and the 2/3 prey Tenontosaurus) will be sold separately from Act 3 (the trio of Deinonychus)...

Also, note how the new base conforms and shares the general shape of the 2/3 Tenontosaurus.

This diorama set-up always reminds me of this image:

Looks like it. The Deinonychus trio will be likely act 3. Though I think it is boring to have just a headless corpse and a base for Act 2.

CityRaptor

Wouldn't surprise me. Queen Triceratops is also a corpse with a base.

I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend

Shonisaurus

Honestly I am not in favor of detachable bases Reborn.

They can be very good the figures, but I do not like removable bases sincerely. I prefer other brands with fixed bases.

I applaud the Fallen Queen is dead triceratops with fixed base. It will be on my wish list.

joossa

If Act 2 and 3 are sold separately, we will keep the discussion for both in here since I don't think Act 2 provides enough to warrant a separate topic.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing their "scientifically accurate Deinonychus" trio.

Well, let's hope those guys don't look like a bunch of Jurassic Park Raptors...or like Jurassic Park Raptors with glued on feathers for that matter.

Perhaps I've said this before, but based on their attempt at Utahraptor, I am not remotely optimistic. Which is sad, because Deinonychus is a longtime favorite of mine.
Also, do they really have to do the Tenontosaurus VS Deinonychus thing?

As before, I would be delighted to be wrong. Maybe it will be an excellent piece.

CityRaptor

It's a paleoart meme, after all. Ornithopods are often depicted as victims anyways.

Reading the quotes in the first post, I also "love" how REBOR claims that their Utahraptor is the cause of "better public acceptance of feathered dinosaurs".

I really hope they'll be accurately feathered. I shouldn't be optimistic considering how their Yuty and Utahraptor turned out, but they've been on an accuracy roll as of late and I got a good feeling they'll do them right. (I hope.. :-\ )

EDIT: Just now noticed what Patrx said, sorry if it seems like I stole your post  ::)

Oh man this one really gets me! The wait will be long and slow...
Run!

Hah, no worries.

Meh, like others have said, if this is just the back 2/3's of the Tenontosaurus not really interested. Not until the Deinonychus trio is released.

Chris

Same. I'm hoping they release the deinonychus trio together with the rest of the tenontosaurus. I understand the "fallen queen" potentially being a standalone piece, but not this. Plus because of how the deinonychus interact with the base, I think they will not be a great standalone piece either

Halichoeres

I'm hoping that part 2 is the Tenontosaurus carcass and the Deinonychus figures, and part 3 is a live Tenontosaurus. Is that too much to hope?

Thank you this thread joossa very informative :) cant wait for this one !!

Shadowknight1

Yeah, I'm with everyone else.  Won't be getting just a corpse until the Deinonychus trio is on its way too.
I'm excited for REBOR's Acro!  Can't ya tell?

Takama

All i have to say about this is that i hope one of those Slots fits the base of a LIVING Tenotosaurus.

Yes, i hope they dont sold separately  :o

TJ_Terrorsaur

I'm totally going to be buying this corpse and I really kind of hope it's detachable so I can have my papo's stealing Herc's dinner.  >:D At least until the Cerberus Clan shows up.
I was honestly hoping they'd make it so Windhunter was a part of Herc's diorama and the other three dinos were her pack-mates. Oh well. ^_^ I can't wait to see the Deinonychus. I wonder if they'll all have their own color scheme.
