I have the new figures from Scheich that my girlfriend gifted to me. I thinkit is not bad but they are not for accurate collectors

Can you post some pics?

Thanks!

Bigger than a camarasaurus,
and with a bite more stronger that the T-Rex bite,
Ticamasaurus is certainly the king of the Jurassic period.

With Balaur feet, dromaeosaurus bite, microraptor wings, and a terrible poison, the Deinoraptor Dromaeonychus is a lethal enemy for the most ferocious hybrid too.

this one?

they call it a pogona(?) Where there any lizards related to bearded dragons back during cretaceous period?
ok i just checked google:
Pogona is its genus name. It says they originate from Australia but doesn't say anything about what time period they evolved.

A search on the Paleobiology Database and a cursory glance at Google Scholar suggests that all fossils of Pogona are Pleistocene. There would likely have been agama-like lizards in the Cretaceous, but not bearded dragons specifically.

actually it was on Wiki that I looked for info, not Google. Thanks for finding the extra info. So the pogona figure would sorta fit with Australian Pleistocene megafauna figures. A snack for those new thylacine and thylacoleo figures. Cewl! 8)

I really do wish Schleich would stop mixing dinos from different eras in their sets, but well, Schleich will be Schleich...

Yeah, I think it would probably even scale well with the Thylacoleo!

I also find it a little annoying that Schleich mixes and matches temporally, but it's sort of the least of their problems, and it did after all result in my getting a pretty good Potanichthys last year.

The fish? It came with both of those sets and unlike the frogs, the colors in both sets are identical. ( Both sets also got a lot negative reviews on Amazon  ;D)
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

sauroid

when is the new Kentrosaurus coming out btw? and is the Stego already in the stores?

Turret

So I saw some of the new schleich dinosaurs in store today. Most are medicore at best (allosaurus, brachiosaurus, the feathered raptors) and some I'd say are good (stegosaurus, Microraptor). No pictures, sorry
And about the allosaurus: the head looks bad even from the side in person, it has the same tooth problems as last years Hererrasaurus

CityRaptor

Okay, the following repainted Minis will be available in the magazine this year.
Indominus Velociraptor ( currently avaiable )
Stegosaurus
Pentaceratops
Saichania
Tyrannosaurus ( seems to be the very same as in Issue 2 )
Spinosaurus ( different color than the one in issue 1 )

Oh and the new Utahraptor made it to Palaeofail:

I saw the Stego in a shop with loads of stuff once, but I didn't get it. The Allo looks terrible and was Unnecessary, and the Brachiosaurus looks like a MINOR improvement. Though I find the Raptor also an Improvement over their previous failures, but this is STILL trash, but better than before..

Like I told you before, that is one stressed Utahraptor!

Im stressed because the paint on this model is crappy, Rubbs off SUPER Easily

I cant evean open his jaw without getting the paint off.

Silvanusaurus

Schleich were so preoccupied with whether they could, they didn't stop to think if they should.

Neosodon

I will never complain about the feathers on my collecta models again.

"3,000 km to the south, the massive comet crashes into Earth. The light from the impact fades in silence. Then the shock waves arrive. Next comes the blast front. Finally a rain of molten rock starts to fall out of the darkening sky - this is the end of the age of the dinosaurs. The Comet struck the Gulf of Mexico with the force of 10 billion Hiroshima bombs. And with the catastrophic climate changes that followed 65% of all life died out. It took millions of years for the earth to recover but when it did the giant dinosaurs were gone - never to return." - WWD

sauroid

just looking at the teeth of that "Utahraptor" thing made me realize that a lot of Chinasaurs are better made than the company's products of the past six years.

I was going to buy that Utahraptor ... but than I saw it in person. The arms on that thing are just wierd.

ItsTwentyBelow

Ick...and what a poor attempt at feathers! The plumage at the back of the skull looks more like mineral crystals than anything else...
