B @Bokisaurus , between you and avatar_RobinGoodfellow @RobinGoodfellow in particular, the  DTF community has an astonishing treasury of visual resources. Thank you for your continuing contributions and positive attitude towards the collecting hobby. Your thread is one of the prime reasons that I continue to follow the forum, especially in times when there are occasional waves of excessive negativity and nasty politics. This is a wonderful counterbalance to those exceptions and a major incentive to participate on the Forum.

Thanks everyone 😃
S @SidB  thank you very much for your wonderful comment, I appreciate it very much. Yeah, I share your sentiment, that's  one of the reasons why i have been focusing more on this thread- some have gotten so negative and become landmines every time you make a comment.
I find keeping up with my collection thread and following everyone's collection threads to be a great escape, no drama just beautiful photos of amazing figures 😃

Stay safe and healthy everyone ❤️

Thank you.
But the real question is different to me : in an age when practically everyone has a good camera (smartphones, tablets, inexpensive pocket digital cameras, etc..), why are there so few people posting photographs of their models on DTF ?  ;)

Because of the uploading process on the DTF. I've got tons of cool stuff I'd love to show, but I have to go to Imgur.com or whatnot, finagle the site on my tiny mobile screen, then come back to the DTF and laboriously fill in a formula and paste it in from the other site.

I'm being a little bit dramatic, but that really is the reason I hardly ever post pics of my collection anymore. If there was an "Upload" button I'd use this site way more.

I don't mind going through the upload process from Flickr.  But I always do it from my desktop.  I couldn't contemplate trying it from my phone or even my iPad I think.

Look who showed up yesterday ! I'm really in love with this figure, so exquisitely sculpted and so full of details! Really blows the older version!
It is now my favorite Spinosaurus version. Yes, its much smaller, but I don't really care, after all not every animal grew to its full size, and this was clearly based not he actual fossil finds size.
Check out those super long nails! ;D
PNSO really have step up the quality of these new medium size range, putting a lot of pressure on others.

And it won't be complete without the comparison shots ;)
Here he is with the GR Toys, PAPO, and CollectA standard size Spinosaurus as well as the CollectA standard size hunting Rex. He is slightly larger than the CollectA version

Shonisaurus

Nice collection of spinosaurus! I congratulate you on your good taste.

The 2020 PNSO spinosaurus lags behind its museum-sized counterpart.

Congrats on picking it up. Thank you for all the comparison pics as well.

I am also curious to see how this will look alongside the new Safari one too, once it releases.

I would like to reiterate what others have already said. Many thanks for showing us those wonderful pictures. I would like to remind others DTF colleagues as well, Ceratopsian, RobinGoodfellow's,  Postsaurischian...who are sharing  their wonderful collections with us. You are one of the reasons that I check this forum everyday!!! I really appreciate that.

100% agreed with SidB, I have a lot of photos in my computer, but I need some time to upload them to the photo platform, and unfortunately I do not have too much for that, especially after coming back from work, staying in front of the computer the whole day! :P

ceratopsian

Your photos of the Spinosaurus, Boki, remind me that it's a Golden Age for dinosaur collectors. It's a beauty (again!)

Bokisaurus

Thank you everyone for the wonderful comments, always appreciate it and encourage me when I hear people find the photos useful and enjoyable.😃

As for posting photos- like avatar_BlueKrono @BlueKrono i wish I could post more often, good k owe I have so much backlog, but navigating between two site on a phone is just take so much time.
I use my phone for almost everything now including taking all the photos, but posting is one thing I find challenging 😂

Like avatar_ceratopsian @ceratopsian i also do all of my photo posting on my computer so finding time is always a challenge these days😁

copper

you and postsaurischian (don't know how to tag members sorry!) have sold me on this model and its now on my wishlist! Really beautiful photos!

It's a great collection. Pnso's new product will last until February. There will be more dinosaurs. :)

V @vampiredesign I don't understand what you're saying about the PNSO spinosaurus lasting until February, do you mean it's a limited figure? If so I am glad I bought it at the time.

(to my knowledge) According to a representative of PNSO, they aim to release at least one new figure per week up until February.
The Spinosaurus is not a limited figure.

This is news. So it is ruin for our respective economies. PNSO must be going gold metaphorically speaking.

Congrats and lovely Photos as usual :)

Exactly. I like the smaller size, too. Moreover, i think the same about growth/size. I never understood "They are slightly out of scale. The Figure needs to be 1cm longer.." e.g. (This is not an actual quote of course.)

Looking forward to your next aquisitions and Photos!
