I said the sculpt of this Allosaurus was an improvement over the old one, I take that back. While the sculpt of the head is an improvement, the figure has worse paint, worst proportions and it seems that it still has balancing issues like the old mold.

I agree, honestly just rerelease the original with a better face and a different blue color and it'd be perfect.

Though, I kinda like how the new Allosaurus reminds me of something from those Animal Planet playsets I'd always pine over at Toys R Us when I was a kid.

Killekor

I think that probably the new Allosaurus has been made that disproportionate because Mattel didn't want to make it too similar to the Papo version (which is identical to the "edited" figure that DemonCarnotaur posted). Anyways, I always preferred the old model to this.
Now let's hope to see a good JWFK-style allosaurus from REBOR, Namnu or other brands that usually make JP style dinosaurs!

Bigger than a camarasaurus,
and with a bite more stronger that the T-Rex bite,
Ticamasaurus is certainly the king of the Jurassic period.

With Balaur feet, dromaeosaurus bite, microraptor wings, and a terrible poison, the Deinoraptor Dromaeonychus is a lethal enemy for the most ferocious hybrid too.

Though we got our first look at the new Battle Damage Monolophosaurus, Herrerasaurus, and Proceratosaurus in the app update, we finally have promo images and in box pics for them (from Jurassic Outpost's Twitter):

The only one worth getting for me is the new Proceratosaurus because of the improved articulation, and maybe the color scheme too. But honestly I just want to see the Battle Damage Spinosaurus already, and if we are getting these soon, then I hope not only does the Spinosaurus show up with them, but also the Plesiosaurus and repainted Pteranodon that have yet to make their way to the states because of shelf warmers and/or poor distribution yet again.

More repaints and more retools. More money saved ^-^

Toasaurus

Repaints and retools but i still might pick them up

Ceratopsianking

I'm kind of sick of repaints but I might just have to get that Procreato

More pics of the Mononykus, new pics of the repainted Attack Pack Dimorphodon, and pics of the likely canceled Legacy Collection story pack set which is just a lazy repack of the Legacy Collection TLW Velociraptor and Malcolm. This might mean the orange raptor in the app update is not this one, but even if it was, still money saved for those that don't need either of these figures. I was curious if we were getting a new repainted attack pack raptor, once I saw the rumors about this set, but sadly not.

Maybe this is a part of why Target has declined to carry any of these sets for this year, as they were overflowing on stock from the previous Legacy figures (they clearanced them off twice), and probably didn't want to deal with more shelf warmers (honestly the only one with any real demand was likely the JPIII set, and that could have been done much better), aside from this not being a movie year and thus having reduced shelf space for products as it is.

interesting colours on the dimorphodon

Honestly you don't loose anything by missing neither of those legacy packs, even the one with the JP3 raptor is not worth it, just look at the almost non existent paintjob, the one missing the stripes on the head wasn't one with a defect, all of them lack stripes on the head.

Ceratopsianking

I wished we would have got the legacy male raptor or Dilophosaurus (the unreleased ones) instead of these, all of these legacy story are just boring, the only reason I'd get it is for the Malcolm figure

No not all of them lack the head stripes. I've seen a few on ebay with them. I do agree that it is a poorly done representative of the JPIII female/white raptor though.

Edit: I do agree that it would have been nice if the Legacy Dilophosaurus and quilled raptor wasn't canceled. Maybe they will see the day of light eventually (I hope so anyways).

Still loving the mononykus. Though, it's feathers ginned up some stupid creationist bull on Facebook, what a stupid world we live in....

Anyway, that Malcolm pack is the final confirmation of me not buying those story packs, this one makes the first two look competent.

Also, am I mistaken or is that repacked lost world raptor one of the new figures from the app update? There is one in the dino rivals section that looks exactly like the previous lost world version.

I preordered the Legendary Edition (is that what they call it?) Proceratosaurus because it doesn't look like it got repeatedly hit on the head with a baseball bat (and therefore turned psychotic like the Tapejara) like all the other Proceratosaurus
. I mean just look at it. Its friggin' gorgeous! (the box labels it "basic" but its anything but basic!)

avatar_Loon @Loon  Then they might as well complain about the one in the film having feathers too since this one is pretty much based on it/accurate to it. Though honestly it is a shame there are folks so close minded they can't even accept fossil evidence. Just sad really.

This repack might be the orange raptor in the app but I guess we will have to wait and see if this even gets released and someone shares the code unless another one shows up with similar colors. I'm still wondering what the last raptor is too (and the green Dilophosaurus).

I'm surprised to see a mononykus from Mattel. I didn't know that one appeared in the movie! The figure looks good, though.
I'm really excited to see that Proceratosaurus! I can't wait to see it somewhere and buy it!

Finally found the new duel attacks and savage strikes today in Rhode Island. Thanks Brickseek!! Love the Nasutoceratops. Such a great figure. If I was doing a top 10 JW 2019 figures this would be high on the list. Here's the full review on the Nasutoceratops. I'll be doing the others throughout the week. https://youtu.be/nVuFu1dGUVw

Why on Earth is the Plesiosaurus already going for a hundred bucks or more on Ebay already? I wasn't chasing one, I just found one via a link and when I noticed the price I did a search and all the ones I found were similar prices. Seems a bit silly for a figure only recently released.
In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.
