I wonder which of them gets the honour of sculpting the T. rex? Probably David.

I want David Silva to go along a Spinosaurus series later.

Please give an answer.

You'd have to write that to him directly to get an answer. He usually replies rather quickly on all his social media.

After keenly studying the skeletons of these tyrannosaurs I do believe that these two figures are extraordinarily accurate in terms of paleontological terms. I shall definitely buy all the tyrannosaurs of this line. I do believe that my childhood desire will come true now and additionally with action figures. More I shall get I had wished for. The only request to add a cloaca in the proper place in all of these tyrannosaurs.

Shonisaurus

I like the lythronax its prototype (illustration) of David Silva's BoTM because its colors are conservative, what I don't understand is how BoTM plans more figures if its ceraptosides are not yet commercialized.

Dinoxels

David just confirmed that these will stand alone without a base. I'm a little worried now for the more front heavy Tyrannosaurs.

So am I, but we shall see what David is able to come up with. It would certainly be marvellous if that really does turn out to be the case.

The Lythronax looks very nice in those colours. Bring on the next one!

I can't wait to see where the next sculpts are going in terms of coloration.
The ceratopsian and raptor series were so adventurous.

I think I'm gonna have to get some of these. I'm kinda boring when it comes to Theropods, most of them don't interest me much, but I've always been a fan of Tyrannosaurus and its' ilk. The designs and colours so far are really eye catching.
In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.

avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin, is there anything you could cut from the first post to make it a little less jumbled? Some of that information probably isn't necessary anymore anyway.

avatar_suspsy @suspsy I'll go through it and fix it up tomorrow. Was beginning to think the same honestly.

Edit: A day late, but well I cleaned it up. Hopefully should be much better by now.

Our first look at the (WIP?) colored concept art for Yutyrannus!

I am absolutely in love with it, and I really like how he implemented the coloration on the tail and arms. I could not be more happier about the bird he went with for this one too, since it's been one of my favorite birds of prey for a long time now.

I'd have to see it on the finished model to be perfectly sure but merely judgeing by the concept art I am not in love. I am happy because the more I save on these the better.
Yutyrannus is the most expensive feathered one, correct?

Shonisaurus

The yutyrannus from Beasts of the Mesozoic as far as its coloring is concerned, in the prototype drawing they have put it as a polar forest dinosaur. Interesting figure.

suspsy

Steller's sea eagle fits Yutyrannus very nicely.

Concavenator

It looks good, but my favorite one so far is the Bistahieversor.

Flaffy

Personally would've preferred Philippine Eagles, with shades of bluish grey for the skin. Not feeling the saturated yellow of the Steller's Sea Eagle.

stargatedalek

I'm just glad it's not solid blueish white like every other Yutyrannus restoration.

Yeah, the Arctic appearance has been done to death by now. Yutyrannus lived in forests; a predominantly white colour scheme probably would have been detrimental to it. Brown makes much more sense.
