I can't wait for the Proceratosaurus. It's the only one I pre-ordered along with the glow in the dark ones.

Happy Hen Toys is now going to be carrying BotM figures. I think folks here might be happy about this news.

Hopefully stocking the ancillaries too! I'd love to grab the Ceratopsians postcard sets, and BOTM.com won't accept an order from me for some reason...

I suggest contacting David. He'll respond and take care of the issue no doubt.

andrewsaurus rex

i've been checking out some of the newly released tyrannosaurs.  I'm lovin' some of the paint schemes.   But why is Teratophoneus so small?  At 12 inches that's just 18 feet long.  Teratophoneus is estimated to be 25 to almost 30 feet.

IIRC, David based the model on the holotype, which has recently been pretty confidently been assigned as a subadult. I don't remember if he ever addressed any notes on this and updated but I feel given the body sharing, it would be too hard to pull off unlike a facial remodel Ala what happened with Eotyrannus

The "Boris" specimen represents what a true Teratophoneus should look like, rather than the odd droopy skulled subadult. Much more traditional Tyrannosaur head.

And speaking of Eotyrannus, I do hope we get a new figure based on Naish's monograph someday.

Absolutely!! For whatever reason, I didn't find Eotyrannus particularly interesting before, but now it strikes me as a rather unique tyrannosauroid, considering its odd proportions. Making a figure of it could also help to educate the general public about the more basal tyrannosauroids, since basal members of the group are fairly uncommon in figure form (except perhaps Yutyrannus, and that one is comparable in size to members of Tyrannosauridae and also made a huge impact upon its discovery, so it's kind of cheating in that regard).

Halichoeres

Very nice of the photographer to include a ruler in the antorbital fenestra of that Teratophoneus!
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

My Wave 2 Tyrannosaurs are currently en route and should arrive soon. Exciting!

Fembrogon

My wave 2 figures arrived this afternoon, and I wasted little time in unpacking them and putting them together. I still need to test them out more and set up my "official collection" photoshoots, but here are a few initial teasers:

avatar_Fembrogon @Fembrogon Okay Dryptosaurus sitting is one of the cutest things I have seen. Same vibes as JWE2 Carnotaurus.

Great shots all around though. Top most pic is like they're dropping their hottest album.

I would easily vote that Dryptosaurus as figure of the year.

Blade-of-the-Moon

Received my full set today as well.  The Drypto is probably my favorite.  The Lythro maybe my least..it or the Terato and it's mostly due to paint apps.
