Quote from: Creative Beast StudioFollowing up on more of the recent Power-Con reveals, today we get a closer look at the prototype for the Cyberzoic armored Fire Clan Dryptosaurus! This armor was sculpted by my good friend and industry veteran, Djordje Djokovic! You may know Djorgje's work from the many iconic action figure lines he's worked on including MOTU Classics, Gargoyles (NECA), and the recent Defenders of the Earth line.

This armor design was one of the very first reveals for Cyberzoic, done by Ross Persichetti

Man the hyena patterns and colors are looking really good on this animal. Can't wait to see the prototype painted up this way. Definitely got this one high on my wishlist as well. Really going to be hard to settle on what I'm pledging for come the kickstarter since it will ultimately depend on the costs and how much I have saved up by then.

I'm quite exited for this one, it looks quite good!

QuoteHere's the first look at the new Pachycephalosaurus figure sculpt by Jake Baardse! This will be offered as part of the upcoming Cyberzoic Kickstarter as a stretch goal, and Beasts of the Mesozoic will get its own color version later on.

So this is our second revealed ornithischian and herbivore after the Stegosaurus wip, as far as sculpts go anyways. Sculpt detail looks excellent, and I'm curious as to what coloration this one will get as well. Going to display nicely alongside the Tyrannosaurus and Triceratops for sure.

That kickstarter is both going to be a blessing and a curse, cause I'm going to be broke after it..

Quote from: Creative Beast StudioHappy Cyberzoic Friday! We have final renders today showing off the converting armor for the Tech Clan Yutyrannus! (seen here sans feathers) This armor will also be compatible with other 'body 3' Tyrannosaur figures from BotM.

Really looking forward to seeing the colors for this version, as I personally don't care for the look of the BotM version.

Also, featherless Yutyrannus is a cursed image.

And speaking about Carnotaurus...

Looks great, but I'll prefer the BotM's coloration. I don't associate Carnotaurus with warm colors, possibly because of Dinosaur King's influence.

Typically Dinosaur King's colorations are my default as well, but with Carnotaurus I'm torn between the blue from Dinosaur King and the red looks from Disney's Dinosaur/Jurassic World. Honestly the latter probably wins out for me.

That's also not Yutyrannus, unless "feathers" include one digit and 2/3 of arm's mass  ;D
"Dinosaurs lived sixty five million years ago. What is left of them is fossilized in the rocks, and it is in the rock that real scientists make real discoveries. Now what John Hammond and InGen did at Jurassic Park is create genetically engineered theme park monsters, nothing more and nothing less."

I mean, the original post said:

You're right about the arms though, I don't know what's going on here.

Okay, a quick check in the Facebook comments reveals that the model depicted is actually the Lythronax with Yutyrannus' head, as a placeholder. Mystery solved.

Quote from: Creative Beast StudioFor this Cyberzoic Friday, we have a first look at the amazing new package art for the armored Allosaurus featuring Tech Knight pilot Argenteus! Here we see the Allosaurus unit exploring unsettled territory, seeking habitable areas of Gaea 2 to clear out, making way for the ever growing human population.

Package art by Raph Lomotan.

I can't believe the kickstarter is only 3 weeks away from today. I can hardly wait as it is.

Matt is doing such a stellar job with the paintwork on these recent figures. The Dilophosaurus, the Carnotaurus, and now this one too. I'm just hoping I'll have enough on hand to obtain a few of these either by the time the kickstarter ends, or by the time the backerkit store opens.

Eatmycar

T. rex stumbled so Allosaurus could walk. Damn. This is a beautiful figure and I can't wait to put it on my shelf. Out with the Papo, the Mattel, and the old, for a new King... err, Queen is coming.

The deco is great, the hook-like claws on the forelimbs are downright intimidating, and I have no room for this big beauty.

Absolutely in love with this thing.

Blade-of-the-Moon

I definitely need the Allosaurus :)

Pliosaurking

Another beautiful piece! It's a good thing I've been saving my money lately... well somewhat.

Carnoking

I'm more keen to see the BotM variant painted up, and that's true for a majority of these Cyberzoic releases. Will definitely have an impact on what all I back in this line.

Concavenator

I'm curious if there will be any Kickstarter exclusives... I don't intend to back the campaign BUT if I see a 1:35 Kickstarter exclusive version of the Allosaurus being offered, I will definitely be backing it then. I recall this video:

Which said the 3 main launch items will be:

- Artic Dragon
- Smilodon
- Allosaurus

Just like the T. rex in the previous Kickstarter campaign (which IIRC was also among, if not the only launch items, in both scales), hopefully the Allosaurus will get the 1:35 treatment too. If that's the case, no way I'm gonna miss on that (if it will be exclusive, that is), regardless of me preferring another color scheme or not. And while I'm not interested in the Stegosaurus, it would be great to have that one in 1:35 too, to recreate the classic Morrison Formation faceoff for those interested.

Looking forward to see the finished Kentrosaurus and Ceratosaurus too. I'll probably be interested in those unless someone beats them to it. The Carnotaurus too, but I think I'll prefer the BotM variant's colors.

Blade-of-the-Moon

Dragon and Allo is about all i'm interested in.
