I'm sorry the quality of the pics isn't exactly the best, grabbed these from the stream:

So am I to understand that BOTM will be making an Appalachiosaurus?  :D

Yep, although it makes me wonder what would they do to make it distinct enough from Drypto. The skull is already quite similar so I was thinking about maybe the arms but those were likely long just like Drypto's. So I wonder...

David96

Btw with Nanuq also confirmed I hope that one day we could see a 25-26 inch long fully grown Tarbo, that body could also be used for Zuchentyrannus which would also be cool. Having said that, species from new families such as Torvosaurus or Megaraptor should still be 100% the priority. But still, it would be cool...

From the stream:

Kentrosaurus by Raul Ramos.

Pachycephalosaurus sculpt.

David also showed a bit of the Cryolophosaurus.

They also revealed what plans they have for next year so far:

1:35 Allosaurus!!!  :o

They also said they plan on releasing a BotM A. jimmadseni, and I think they said a Cyberzoic A. fragilis as well. Not surprised, back in 2022, they said they had plans to release all 4 Allosaurus figures. But David said in this stream that it can take a while for those other versions to appear, because otherwise there'd be too many Allosaurus figures available.

Been holding off on getting any Allosaurus figure since 2022 despite it being my all-time favorite dinosaur, in hopes there'd be a 1:35 BotM version or another one. Well, my time has come.  8)

Also, I almost predicted everything when I said this:

Quote from: Concavenator on September 09, 2022, 06:45:55 PMavatar_Carnoking @Carnoking avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres avatar_suspsy @suspsy avatar_Stegotyranno420 @Stegotyranno420 I asked David a few weeks ago if would it be possible to have 1:35 versions of Allosaurus and Stegosaurus and he told me that it's not out of the question, and that he plans to continue with the 1:35 line. In that case, I would say those two are among, if not the most likely next releases at that scale.

Also, love that A.fragilis! Looking forward to see the eventual A.jimmadseni as well before deciding which one to go for. Even though Allosaurus is my favorite prehistoric animal, if I were to choose between species, I think I'd go with A.jimmadseni. Though it all comes down to which species David chooses for the 1:35 release (if it comes to be). That's the one I would really go for, regardless of the species. And I think if he was to choose only 1 species for the 1:35 release, he would choose A.fragilis.

It's just the 1:35 Stegosaurus that's missing.

Also, I noticed that the popular genera they offer at the start of the campaigns (non-stretch goals) always end up receiving a smaller option treatment:

- Velociraptor: starter genus for the Raptor series, originally 1:6 but then 1:18 too.
- Triceratops: starter genus for the Ceratopsian series, originally offered at 1:35 (or thereabouts, the so-called "Juvenile"), with the 1:18 version being a stretch goal.
- Tyrannosaurus: starter genus for the Tyrannosaur series, initially offered both at 1:18 and 1:35 scales.

And then for Cyberzoic there were 3 starter figures: Allosaurus jimmadseni (1:18), Smilodon (1:12) and that dragon.

They'd already confirmed a 1:18 Smilodon is coming, and now there will be a 1:35 A. fragilis as well.

I guess this means the starter dinosaur genus for the next Cyberzoic campaign will likely end up being offered at 1:35 too. And I recall David saying in another stream that when they get to making sauropods, they'd be offering them in 1:35 scale.

Faelrin

I imagine the Stegosaurus would be after the 1:18 gets going into production. Maybe 2026?

Kind of hope A. jimmadseni gets the 1:35 version as well. Ross showed the paint sample on the stream last night and it was so good looking (ditto with the Arctic Dragon Chris showed).

I joined in pretty late so only caught wind of the Kentrosaurus and Zoic card game, etc.

So glad to see Cryolophosaurus on its way as well, and the Pachycephalosaurus (again?). Looking forward to seeing more of those in the future.

avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin Considering there are 1:35 versions of both Tyrannosaurus and Triceratops, it's only fair that Stegosaurus will be getting the 1:35 treatment too, to go with the Allosaurus;)

A 1:35 A. jimmadseni would be great as well, but I'm not holding my breath for that. I think we're lucky enough they decided to offer a 1:35 version of either species, since it's only rarely they release a 1:35 figure.

I think I posted all the important stuff in the post above.

Carnoking

Not a bad lineup for '25 so far. I believe I saw that the 1/18 Smilodon goes up for pre-order in February (excited to have that with the Eons Mammoth!) but was there any mention on when to expect the others? Or is there another Kickstarter planned for next year that includes these figures and more?

Looks like a promising line up for next year. Very excited for all these.

Giganotosaurus

After learning that the Dilophosaurus and upcoming Cryolophosaurus are undersized, I'm thinking of skipping them.

I pledged for the Cyberzoic Allosaurus next year, I will also pre-order the 1/18 Smilodon and the Carnotaurus. I think those three, plus the 1/18 and 1/35 Mammoths will be my total haul for next year.

The Dilophosaurus isn't undersized.  In fact i'd say it's perfectly sized for 1/18.  I haven't checked out the Cryolophosurus yet.

At 14.5 inches they would be 6.6 meters so kinda in the average-lower range for the species, but still not undersized so imho it wouldn't be a major issue. What concerns me the most is if Cryo's proportions are really that similar to Dilo's, for what I can tell the former seems to have longer legs and a thicker body but I'm no paleontologist so i couldn't tell for sure. Wish there was a paleontologist around to ask him tbh

Flaffy

Cryolophosaurus. I'm satisfied with my holy grail Carnegie version, but I don't doubt a lot of folks were waiting for a feathered version to hit the market as well. It's main competition will be the feathered Recur Cryolophosaurus (if we ever get news on that one).

Faelrin

QuoteToday we have another preview gallery of the Cyberzoic Utahraptor paint sample! This and the other wave B beasts have a release date of late May, but I think June will be more likely- (still confirming the status with the factory).
And while it's not as fun as looking at new dinosaur figures, I feel I should address the recent concerns regarding the China tariffs. Since this is still a developing situation, there is no definitive expectation on how this will affect us. But I can confirm this: there are no changes to our releases- we're fully committed to moving forward with everything that is currently up for preorder and beyond and we still intend to release our items as soon as we can. If the tariffs hold, there will likely need to be an increase on the regular MSRP pricing for new items, but if you do have a preorder, you are locked in at that price, period. We intend to keep things as close to the same as we possibly can as we absorb the brunt of the additional costs. My goal no matter how this goes is to continue to make high-quality collectible figures at affordable prices. We're crossing our fingers and hopping for a reasonable solution for everyone involved, but we're not slowing down. As long as our fans continue to support us, the sky is still the limit.

As usual I appreciate his transparency on all of this, and even giving us a chance to take advantage of the previous pricing through the discounted pre-order pricing. So best get those pre-orders in I suppose. And even despite that wanting to keep final msrp reasonable despite whatever comes. I have a lot on my wishlist, and I plan to work it out as best I can to keep supporting him and his team (and get myself some amazing dino action figures).

I also asked on instagram just because my situation is always up in the air, and he replied, and let me know that addresses can be changed before things ship out on https://creative-beast.com/

That's very good of him to honor those pre-order prices.

It is very good of David and I can't say I'm surprised given his outstanding service.

The rub here is that it's nice to be able to save up for these releases during the pre-order period but the shifting nature of the tariffs creates a sense of uncertainty and urgency. Do you bite the bullet and pre-order now to lock in the best price? Or should you wait until the best time for you to order but risk having to pay more down the line?

Not only does it suck from a collector standpoint but I hate to think of how this might affect David as an independent business owner if a good chunk of his customers end up getting priced out by something outside of his control.

Edit 2: Another comic page in color shown, with Camarasaurus? or sauropods, and a horse, and some other creatures.

Full package art for the 1//35 BotM Allosaurus jimmadseni by Gabriel Ugueto was revealed.

Don't forget confirmed Chalicotherium  ;)

QuoteEdit 2: Another comic page in color shown, with Camarasaurus? or sauropods, and a horse, and some other creatures.

Yes, it's Camarasaurus. And they said that this one could come in 1/18th scale so my collector dream has finally been fulfilled :')

My brother was talking over that bit so I couldn't quite here what it was about that Chalicotherium, but I know I heard it said.

Only one Teratophoneus left on creative beast:

Edit: Someone bought it in the stream. That was fast.

Edit: Chris confirmed once these guys are out of stock, that's it, so get them asap.

Edit: Spinosaurus head sculpt revealed. Looks great.
