I recall last year people were a bit annoyed by the month by month release reveals so maybe safari was listening and decided to release the reveals all at once again.

Also keep in mind a couple of the 2023 releases are still being worked on in 2024

I think the 2023 batch has the largest delay between reveal and release. Still no sign of the Estemmenosuchus, Therizinosaurus and Stegouros in the UK. :'(

The estemmenosuchus and stegouros have been released (I have the estemmenosuchus). Maybe UK sellers are waiting to order until everything is released?

Can you confirm if that's true S @Shane ?

I prefer the old format too.

And I got a cool Temnodontosaurus out of it!

I don't know how the announcements are going to be made this year. That is outside of my department. I can only confirm that items are new items are being worked on. Some are further along in the production process than others, but as far as how and when they are going to be revealed, I can't say.

I have a feeling we will go back to the old format: Revealing in late of the year and releasing between last months of 2024 and early 2025. Thats my theory, weird they didnt show anything for 2024

Are you referring to the map on this page? https://www.dejankins.com/ordering-shipping

If so, I think it only indicates where he has shipped in the past, not where he's willing to ship. People in the remaining states (mostly lower-population) just happen not to have ordered from him. I expect DeJankins would be delighted to be able to shade your state in; you need only give him the opportunity.
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

If Dejankins is willing to ship all the way to Hong Kong, I'm sure he'll be willing to ship within the US. Forever grateful to have managed to secure a copy of the elusive Bullyland Mastodonsaurus from him for a reasonable price.

Well that certainly makes more sense and helps me out a ton! I'll be sure to see if he can when I get the chance. Certainly would make some of the figures I'm hunting for easier to obtain.

Chasmosaurus

all new figurines, from prehistoric creatures to modern-day animals, are available at modellpferdeversand and spielzeug-guenstig. The stegouros and the kentrosaurus are also available at everythingdinosaur

Safari ltd Estemmenosuchus, Stegouros and Kentrosaurus (2024) finally reached UK shores! I've ordered 3 copies of the Estemmenosuchus myself to create a little herd; potentially having two of them repainted in the Kenner colour schemes.

I remember some speculation that Safari isn't doing very well financially, but I think that is partly due to a degree of upset because Safari has changed how they release figures due to, as S @Shane explained, continued disruption by coronavirus.  Safari's latest figures include some of their all-time best figures, the Utahraptor, Estemmenosuchus, Therizinosaurus, Stegouros...  Even as other companies such as PNSO and Haolonggood produce a stream of impressive releases I think Safari still stands strong as one of the best companies, alongside the aforementioned two.  I am eager to see what Safari releases next!  Personally, I'm ready for a Safari Torvosaurus!  Just saying! ^-^

Also safari signed deals with other third toy companies to sell their products like those lego like toys.

Without giving too much away, if you're paying attention to what's happening on the West Coast of the U.S. later this week and this weekend, there may be some interesting news soon..

Finally... month after month of agonising waiting... I finally have not just one, but THREE of the fantastic Safari Estemmenosuchus! One of which will be (pending) sent to Martin to be repainted in the original Kenner Series 2 Estemmenosuchus paint scheme. While not as detailed as the much larger CollectA version, I feel that Doug's sculpt & paint scheme better captures the more therapsid-y aspects of Estemmenosuchus.

The back paint is more of a purple-ish hue rather than the drab brown as seen in promo pics; with the rich orange complementing the figure nicely. Definitely enjoy the more fluid pose and various skin folds/sagging on this model compared to the more rigid CollectA. The oral anatomy is a highlight for me personally, it's very impressive how much detail Doug managed to pack in such a tiny headsculpt. I do wish the teeth were more carefully painted however. Early promotional samples sent to reviewers features individually painted teeth, particularly evident on the upper incisors.

The only things I'd really change about the figure are:
- The eye colour; as the current choice of brown doesn't really stand out. I personally feel a brick red colour would've been great.
- Highlights on the hornlets to emphasise their function as display structures.
Both of which are quite easily customisable.

On the Animal toy forum Shane reported that Safari is doing fine.  I'm happy to hear that!  And I look forward to seeing something new for 2024 from Safari soon!
