QuoteI think in 2014 they've been sort of resting because 2013 was extremely hard for them.
What makes you believe that?
Their Carnotaurus and Dimetrodon were both impressive. The detail is too abundant.I think it was hard for them for putting so much detail.

For who? The sculptor? I doubt it. He is paid for what he does and he is clearly good at it. Any issues the sculptor may have had is irrelevant to the company. As long as he keeps to his deadline and delivers what he is paid to do, I don't think they could care less about any issues he had.

And I don't see the Carno and Dimetro as being any more detailed than the rest of the line.

suspsy

Apatosaurus and Ceratosaurus would be neat. Kinda neutral on Giganotosaurus to be honest. A baby Stegosaurus would be sweet.

No more difficult than anything else they have made. Some people have such talent, what looks extremely difficult to us is actually just the way they do it.

Ditto on the detail for the rest of the line TQ.

I almost suspect we might get a few Walking With Dinosaurs Movie inspired figures for 2015. A Shiny blue Gorgosaurus? Quetzalcoatlus? I wouldn't mind an Edmontosaurus. You heard it here first!
In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.

Yeah, it's starting to grow on me... Yeah, Parksosaurus!

Also its  too much, but if they can: I want an alexornis! Also a decent real ankylosaurus, not an euoplocephalus. Since it was announced, I wanted to see an ankylosaurus based in JP3 (My favourite dinosaur in the movie(specially the colour pattern)

DinoG

D.rex from JW...bomb dropped!!!!!
Run!

Papo couldn't make a "D. Rex" even if they wanted to. As a purely fictional monster, its rights lie with Universal and Hasbro.

Same here.It's not a dinosaur,it's a mutant.

CityRaptor

I can see them having a Giganotosaurus or Charcharodontosaurus with some D.Rex influence, however.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

SpartanSquat

I think the same. In 2016 and further we will have an albino carcharodontosaurid or carnosaur for the movie. Also I hope to see an updated mosasaurus for the film.

They wouldn't call it a D Rex, but they would use its' general appearance and colour and apply it to an existing theropod. They put the fictional V Rex's head from King Kong on the Jurassic Park T Rex's body.

I feel silly typing "something" Rex, now.

Exactly! I can imagine this with other fictional dinosaurs like Ligocristus from Kong as Olorotitan. If in a future they will use JW, I hope to see Dimorphodon, Microceratus, Mosasaurus and Gallimimus

triceratops83

Not only is Gallimimus long overdue from them, but it IS featured prominently in the JW trailer - I can see us getting a Papo version soon. As for Microceratus, I'd rather a life size resin kit.

I don't know why major companies always shy away from Ornithomimids ...

There boring ostrich like animals that all look the same in the eyes of the public. At least that's my hypotheses

CityRaptor

Given the ignorance often displayed by the public, that would not surprise me.

Pachyrhinosaurus

IMO an ornithomimid could have the selling point of being prey for a larger dinosaur, sort of like the WS edmontosaurus. I can see it being hard to balance, though, as it would have long legs and a short tail.
