Merry Christmast everybody!
I hope you have a wonderful day or night wherever you live! And dinosaur goodies under the tree!
As for me, I´m very happy with my presents!

avatar_MLMjp @MLMjp Congrats on your acquisition. I should be getting these two very soon myself (well I technically did have the Brachiosaurus, but as I was disappointed with its paint app on the head, it will be going to my nieces today, in addition to a few other things I got for them).

I got my Papo Spinosaurus last week. It's such an amazing figure! The paint is really nice, even if not as good as on the prototype. Only the teeth are a bit sloppy. But I am really happy to finally have it!

I need to share with you what I got for a gift for my 18th birthday from my parents! A box full of dinosaurs!
There are 9 non-avian dinos (well, 8 technically, there's one  Ichtiosaur) and 9 birds. 18 figures in total. I am so happy!

..I know that asking for Schleich to be accurate is like asking for Sideshow to be cheap but, on 2020, a quadrupedal Postosuchus is quite hard to be seen..  ;)

I finally got the Spanish version of this book from the experts of Eofauna, and all I want to say is that it's fantastic, I liked it a lot. I'm looking forward for their next book of this series about sauropods  :)

It's more scientific than I thought, and it has been a pleaseant surprise all the contents which are really up to date: the part about history records, the fossils, the eggs and footprints, and the comparisons, drawings and skeletal reconstructions are really nice. Maybe too location records and facts for my taste to read :D but very interesting to know about speed and bite forces! Never thought that there were too many birds I hadn't heard about.
And a spoiler: Yes, T-Rex holds many of the records!  ;D

I got it from Amazon, the English version is also available.

avatar_DragonRider02 @DragonRider02 what a great birthday gift!

avatar_Duna @Duna I love this book, but I wish I had bought the Spanish edition. The English edition has some funny translation foibles.

If a quadrupedal Postosuchus seems surprising to you, could you try to image for a moment what a quadrupedal Chilesaurus would look like? Ah, come on, there's no way someone would ever even think of that, would they?  >:D

Hahaha  ;D you killed me!

Killekor

Today in a toy store I found a lot of Schleich models and, between them, there were all the new figures! I bought the Baryonyx and took advantage from the "second Schleich figure at 50%" discount adding to it the long searched Dracorex. I'm so happy!

I'll soon post my thoughts on my new figures in my collection thread.

Killekor
Bigger than a camarasaurus,
and with a bite more stronger that the T-Rex bite,
Ticamasaurus is certainly the king of the Jurassic period.

With Balaur feet, dromaeosaurus bite, microraptor wings, and a terrible poison, the Deinoraptor Dromaeonychus is a lethal enemy for the most ferocious hybrid too.

Late to the party, but here's my Christmas dinohaul, including my first models by Eonfauna and PNSO:

I'm really pleased with all of them - it's made me realise just how far dinosaur toys have come over the last few years.  I think I may be becoming an Ankylosaur fan...

I'm keeping the Beasts of the Mesozoic nestlings boxed for now.  I'll probably get them out when I've finally got round to painting the Build-a-Raptor, so they can have both parents. ;)
