Shrek 4 is an underrated masterpiece

avatar_GojiraGuy1954 @GojiraGuy1954 Thanks for posting those. I've been busy cleaning all day. I'll update the op later tonight.

My goodness though. What an exceptional beauty! This is the (accurate) Gorgosaurus I've been waiting years for it seems.

After taking a trip over to instagram I see that the famous Shane Foulkes has painted this one, and will be painting the Daspletosaurus and Albertosaurus as well, but David said he would be reserving the reveals of those for the kickstarter, which begins about two weeks from now. I cannot wait to see how he does those.

Oh my goodness, that Gorgosaurus is gorgeous (Gorgeousaurus? ;D), easily the best paint application in this line yet! I have to say I am very positively surprised by how natural the Tyrannosaurs look so far. The ceratopsians looked so toy-like with their garish colour schemes, this is a massive improvement!

DragonRider02

That Gorgosaurus is absolutelly marvelous. I really wasn't expecting it to turn out so natural. But It's one of the largest figures in the line, isn't it? Now I am sad that I probably wont be Able to afford it  :'(

I am amazed by the striking and vibrant coloration of the Dilong as well. I think it's gonna end being my favorite feathered figure, maybe even my favorite out of all tyrannosaurs. I am glad this one is small, it means I will be Able to afford it.

But they are toys.

This is a must have, I'll gladly pass on some of the previous reveals for this.

Gorgosaurus wasn't on my radar before... but it certainly is now. My god it is beautiful.

Here's to hoping production samples can capture the masterful work of Shane Foulkes.

terrorchicken

all these tyrannosaurs are amazing! Is that gold paint on gorgo's crest?

Pachyrhinosaurus

It looks like a more naturalistic take on the classic Battat tyrannosaurus' color scheme.

Looks absolutely beautiful. Probably the best reveal so far; however, due to the size and price I'll have to pass. Can't wait to see this paired up with the Pachyrhinosaurus though.

thedeadlymoose

I truly wasn't prepared to see what Shane Foulkes would do with a David Silva color scheme.

I wonder if SF is also going to be painting the Dino Riders T. rex.  :o

Shonisaurus

That gorgosaurus from BoTM summarizes the improvement evolution that this outstanding company is having when tyrannosauroids are far better than their predatory counterparts. That gorgosaurus leaves all the other paleo-artistic representations in figure of said dinosaur in the place of shame. The colors, the layout and the sculpture are great.

SF is confirmed to be handling the Daspletosaurus and Albertosaurus as well! ;D

Which lends me to wonder why SF wasn't in charge of the Tarbosaurus.

Package art of the Lythronax from artist Gabriel Ugueto, has been revealed:

Love seeing the Diabloceratops featured here (like with the Bistahieversor's package art, alongside Pentaceratops). I feel for that poor baby, but this is also nature, and this artwork is a fantastic look at such a prehistoric scene, never mind that it is for the boxes of future (wonderful) action figures.

I'm loving these so far, but I have noticed that it seems like some of these cannot completely close their mouths.

Are we supposed to see all the different tyrannosaurs finished when the Kickstarter begins?

All three different colour schemes are fabulous, but Dino-Riders was a huge deal for me back in the day, so that's definitely the one for me. And given that that scheme was never actually used for the retail version of the DR T. rex for some unknown reason, this feels like the righting of a wrong.

Can't wait till the 22!
