Here’s a pretty nifty new addition to the Jurassic Park ’93 Classic series: the Tyrannosaurus rex Off-Road Tracker Pack.
As you can plainly see, this latest tyrant lizard has a noticeably unique head sculpt. Between that and the colour scheme, it’s clearly a homage to the Jurassic Park Series 2 Young T.

For this year’s San Diego Comic Con, Mattel is offering up an exclusive set featuring the late music legend and philanthropist Jimmy Buffett, who had a very brief cameo in Jurassic World.
As you can see, the set consists of Buffett’s character, two margaritas, three miniature Dimorphodons with display rods, and a glass-shaped stand.

Most ankylosaurs are classified as either Ankylosauridae or Nodosauridae. Ankylosaurids are easily distinguishable by their wide, blocky heads and tails terminating in solid bone clubs, and include the likes of Ankylosaurus itself, Euoplocephalus, Jinyunpelta, Pinacosaurus, and Zuul.

And here they are, Haolonggood’s Stegosaurus trio! And lest anyone point out that Stegosaurus toys are already aplenty, note that these are S. ungulatus, not the usual S. stenops. S. ungulatus was the larger of the two and had taller and narrower plates.

Stegouros (roofed tail) is a genus of late Cretaceous ankylosaur from Chile’s Dorotea Formation. It was described in 2021and has already proven to be a fairly popular dinosaur with three mass produced toys to its name. One from CollectA, another from Mattel, and this one from Safari Ltd.

Images have surfaced of a new prehistoric playset from Schleich that will be coming out later this summer, Dino Temple Conquest.
It consists of the titular temple, a wood and rope bridge, a jail cell, plants, a human figure with equipment, a golden egg and theropod skull, and a repaint of the 2023 Monolophosaurus.

Still another multipack by Mattel was recently revealed: the Camp Cretaceous Suchomimus Protector Set. This one consists of Ben with a case containing dinosaur eggs, a dark brown Gallimimus, and a new version of Suchomimus.

Now here’s a new one for the blog, and another dinosaur I had never heard of until Mattel made a toy of one… Guaibasaurus. Guaibasaurus is a genus of basal saurischian from the Late Triassic Caturrita Formation, in southern Brazil.
