@5aurophaganax I've removed Jakapil from the list, following your request.  I can relate to how you feel, I too was interested in a figure of Jakapil initially, but although it has a unique appearance it's still very speculative and it just doesn't seem worth making at this stage.  I hope in the future more of Jakapil is found, but for now I think Scutellosaurus and Scelidosaurus would be better choices to make into a figure.

Phacops rana is now known as Eldredgeops rana so I've updated it in the list accordingly. Stupendemys's species name has been corrected to geographica so I've updated it in the list to match that.  I've also removed a species only I was interested in and now no longer am.  I've also removed Hanyusuchus as it's not an only prehistoric animal.

Could Tullimonstrum gregarium (1966) be added to the list? Considering the only (non resin) option for it is retired, pretty rare, and goes for quite a bit these days, we really could use a new figure of this. Said figure was advertised as "Nessie" which certainly also complicates hunting for it. Come to think of it, Thylacoleo carnifex (1859) is in a similar boat, as the only figure made of it (Southlands Replicas) is also retired now, and not easy to come by. Though it still holds up mostly to this day (a bit too feline like, but otherwise still okay). It's possible it could make a come back if Mojo has acquired the mold of it, like with some of their other figures, but no guarantees there. I can't recall if I requested these before, but please remind me if I have.

Also now that CollectA's 2023 reveals are finished are some of these going to be removed? Or do we wait for the figure's actual release? Offhand I know there's Koolasuchus and Stegouros (although a bit too big for my tastes, it is at least a decent figure of it that others may be interested in). Search didn't bring up anything else in the list though surprisingly. I would have thought Shastasaurus at least, but huh guess not.

I'm no longer interested in it due to being fragmentary (I know it has a unique appearance, but it's still speculative and the remains are not good enough for me).

I've added Tullimonstrum to the list.  I find it hilarious that that toy version was advertised as Nessie.  I'm not counting it as a Tullimonstrum figure for the purpose of this list so Tullimonstrum has been added in blue (no figure version).
I'm reluctant to add Thylacoleo though, since it has a good toy version which was also available up until recently.  If it isn't inaccurate I think I won't add it.  Otherwise there would be many other species that have good retired versions that would be added, and I feel that the list should be for species that don't have a good nice-sized figure.
You didn't request Thylacoleo before, but looking back in this thread you had suggested Tullimonstrum as a species with a good retired version.  Since the figure of it wasn't intended to be a Tullimonstrum it can go on the list as a species without a toy version.

I'll remove species from the list once a good figure of them is actually available.  I'll keep Stegouros on the list though unless a better-sized version comes out since you'd like one that is smaller than CollectA's huge figure, Faelrin.  Shastasaurus was requested by Shonisaurus and it was added to the list as Guanlingsaurus since that species was what the best remains classified as Shastasaurus belong to.  I'll remove it from the list once CollectA's Shastasaurus is released since Shonisaurus just wanted a figure of Shastasaurus.

I've also gone through the list and removed the following as their remains aren't good enough in my opinion: Phorusrhacos, Leedsichthys, Struthiomimus, Stenonychosaurus, Gigantoraptor, Dreadnoughtus, Ambopteryx, Utaurora, Yorkicystis, Abditosaurus, Mbiresaurus.

You make a good point about that. It may be a good idea for a different list that's focused on that sort of thing.

Anyways thanks for adding Tullimonstrum. I think I want a figure of that, and Tiktaalik the most. I'm surprised Kaiyodo or another hasn't stepped up to the plate yet.

This list originally included species whose good version was retired.  I felt that the amount of these was taking away from the original idea of the list which was to list species that didn't have a good version.  That and some of the species had a retired good version that was easily and recently available and I felt that was also not really what this list was for.  So that led to me deciding to not list species with good retired versions.

I've now added Diictodon!  I've also added two species I'm surprised no-one requested yet:
1877: Apatosaurus ajax
1916: Apatosaurus louisae
I really only need one of them made and either would be good.  It's shocking there isn't a good modern version of either and both species have the rare achievement of being sauropods with known skulls.

No, it isn't settled, but I'd wager a small amount of money it will turn out not to be, if we ever figure it out.

Even though I'm not interested in a Saurophaganax or Jakapil if I were to choose between the 2, I'd rather go with Jakapil, at least it has a distinctive appearance, which can't be said about Saurophaganax.

I was browsing the list again, and I'm surprised Ouranosaurus isn't on the list. The last accurate one made was the Battat one in the early 90's. I think it is well past time for a new accurate take on it. Now that PNSO has done a Suchomimus, I really hope they (if not another company) can tackle it, since Ouranosaurus is from the same formation as Suchomimus. It's the last ornithopod they have a mini of that does not have a larger version now.

Also I think Dinornis can be removed now? I think the Eikoh figure is fine, unless anyone would disagree. There's also a Takara Tomy ARTS figure, though more stylized then the Eikoh one. Though both are Japanese figures so they may be harder to come by for many folks, unless they go through Brett like I've done.

@Halichoeres Come to think of it I've done that quite a bit this year with those Paleozoic invertebrates. You have a lot more restraint then me.

I've removed Suchomimus and Dinornis from the list and added Ouranosaurus.  I've also re-added Dromaeosaurus as I've come to the conclusion the BotM versions are too low to the ground and Utahceratops as the only accurate version, the BotM, is huge.

I recently watched a review of the BotM 1:18 Dromaeosaurus and Psittacosaurus and I think the Dromaeosaurus can get away with its leg length after all so I've removed Dromaeosaurus from the list again.

Meraxes could get out of the list with PNSO's version now available. And based on that recent tweet by Safari, looks like Utahraptor will be exiting the list soon as well (Creative Beast version aside).
