Greetings DinoWaurriors! Today we are looking at another gem of the line, not just because of the great look, but also due to the fact that this is the only figure of the species, at least as of writing this. Here, we investigate DinoWaurs Dorygnathus, a relative of Rhamphorhynchus from the Jurassic of Bavaria.
The figure is small, at 3.9″ wide and 1.6″ high, owing to being a blind box figure, but given that these pterosaurs are fairly small, it works really well among larger lines. Once again we have an all over grey with brilliant shading, plus a few paint applications on the head. The pose is dynamic, as if about to take flight or land. Might not be entirely accurate to what they actually did, but works well.
To accuracy. There is very little to complain about here, as the proportions are phenomenally close to the fossil, with the only nit pics being the tail being a tad long and the toes being a bit small. Though the lower jaw has an awkward bend, the skull is really good, even having a good try at the bizarre teeth.
Though this line can seem cheap and inaccurate, this figure proves there are gems among them. I love this little fella, and highly recommend it. Best to try Dejankins or eBay to get it, either by buying the figure out of bag or by blind bag hunting. Either way, it won’t disappoint.

Thank you for your review. Can we have some less-blurry photos, please?
Nice to see a new genus on the blog, although truth be told, I’d have taken it for another Rhamphorhynchus on sight.
