Mattyonyx

I really like that picture of the Albertosaurus, more than the previous one.

Flaffy

The legs on the Moros feels rather short and robust compared to fossil material.

avatar_Flaffy @Flaffy Looking at it again, I agree. Good catch. I'll post a comment on the kickstarter with a link to the paper.

Eocarcharia

Well, I added Proceratosaurus and Daspletosaurus to my pledge, but then removed the Proceratosaurus and decided to wait until the finished prototype is shown to possibly add it in the BackerKit. I may also swap Daspletosaurus for Albertosaurus if it gets funded.

I don't think Moros and Albertosaurus are going to make it.

Prove me wrong!

Well, you've now been proven wrong regarding the Moros, which is now unlocked. You might be right regarding the Albertosaurus but still, what if it doesn't get funded on time for when the Kickstarter ends? I didn't follow the ceratopsian (or the raptor) campaign, but apparently a lot of the ceratopsians were funded thanks to Backerkit. With that in mind, I'm confident that (1) extra figure will be funded on Backerkit.

Amyways, it's now pretty clear that this campaign has been a resounding success and it's far exceeded people's expectations. I'm glad for David, he truly deserves it.

I noticed this too. But I understand this issue since each figure is not completely individual, so this may be a result of sharing pieces. Let's see what David has to say about this. I think he's done a great job at correcting some issues nonetheless, such as the neck of the Teratophoneus (which I pointed out to be too skinny ever since the first image of the concept art appeared  :P ).

Lynx

I'm a little upset that he won't manage to make the accessory/habitat packs due to how little of time is left, but I'm glad the general campaign was a massive success in general!

Lynx

Also one last question, do you have to create an account on backer kit to do the survey?

avatar_Concavenator @Concavenator avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin David's response to Moros legs:

"That makes sense about the Moros legs and it's a reasonable reuse with Proceratosaurus. Not enough time to make this adjustment before the campaign ends, but it should be doable for the final prototypes. Thanks."

That may still be able to happen, during the Backerkit. As I understand it, that will be a few months.

The Albertosaurus Situation feels like the plot of an 80's teen movie... "If they don't get the money, the greedy land developer will ruin the Rec Center AND the Albertosaurus! We need to hold a dance contest!"

48 hours and $29,085 to go as I write this...

Faelrin

avatar_Flaffy @Flaffy I saw he responded to my question on the kickstarter earlier this morning with the same info (about the Proceratosaurus parts, etc). I think it's perfectly understandable to not rush the process and focus more on getting painting for the others done, etc with almost 48 hours left.

avatar_Lynx @Lynx No. You'll get an email (the one you used to create the kickstarter account) with the survey and you can get to it from there. I guess you can make one afterwards to have an easier time keeping track or signing in so you don't have to go to the email each time.

Anyways I am glad to see the Moros get unlocked and that we have reached over half a million now! Absolutely incredible how it has managed to get this far. Really hope to see the Albertosaurus get funded in time too.

Edit: I'm home now so I updated the op to say 2 days remaining (since there's less then 48 hours now).

Edit 2: Moros update and 40 hours remaining:

Oh man, what a nail biter! 25 hours and just over $8,000 to go! I think it's gonna happen but boy is it gonna be tight!

Faelrin

Less then $7,000 away now. I wonder if we can reach 2,000 backers too before this ends? That would be something. I made yet another post on instagram this morning trying to get the word out there one last time.

Wow. I'm surprised he managed to pull out nearly $30k in just 3 days, this late in the campaign. I pledged for the standard 27" T.Rex and would love to get more, but one big centerpiece is all I can afford this time. I'm rooting for that last $7k!

Just a little over $4k left to go now!

I was thinking of pledging for just one more tyrannosaur before the campaign ends, and I love the design of that Albertosaurus. On the other hand, I really do not have space to display a 20-inch figure ;D Decisions, decisions.
Check out my customs thread!

I've been so taken by all of these figures that I had forgotten to consider display space. May have to reconsider that at the last minute.  :o

Less then $1,000 to go! So glad to see it!

Edit: Lol it just got funded!

I've just decided my tyrannosaurs will be getting their own dedicated shelf haha. Thankfully I have some wall space for that. I'm gonna need it because I am definitely getting that tarbo...
